<title>Blogging Don'ts</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Online-Writing/Blogging-Donts.339817</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p>Blogging, all like blogging and all will like to make their blog successful. If you are new to blogging and like to make your blog successful, then you want to read this article. Because here i have given some mistakes which bloggers do while blogging. To make your blog to run smooth then you want to avoid these mistakes.Lets see the mistakes one by one..</p>
<p><strong>Viewing statistics of your blog</strong>:- <br /> Most of the new bloggers will see their blog statistics every day. I am not saying that you should not see your blog statistics, it is important to see the statistics. But as a new blogger you should not see your blog statistics everyday, because if you see your blog statistics, then your mind will always think about increasing your blog traffic not to <strong>write content</strong>. Writing content is very very important than increasing traffic. You can achieve any amount of traffic to your blog, if you have good contents. So as a new blogger, visit your blog statistics once a week and write contents daily.</p>
<p><strong>Viewing How much you have earned</strong>:-<br /> This is another mistake what bloggers do while starting a blog. All bloggers (even i) will see their earnings everyday. It is a mistake, to see earnings everyday. Because, this will deviate your concentration from writing contents and make you to type "how to increase my earnings" in google. So, as a new blogger you should not see your earnings until you get some good traffic to your blog, your main concentration should be in writing contents.<br /> <br /> <strong>Using others works</strong>:-<br /> Most of the new bloggers don't know about Plagiarism. They just visit some blogs and Ctrl+C some articles which they like and Ctrl+V that article in their blogs. If you do this, then you are considered as a cheater and also you can't make your blog famous by copying others work.<br /> <br /> If the real owner of the contents find that their article has copied, then you will be start getting problems<a href="http://www.blogstuff.co.cc/2008/09/ways-to-avoid-plagiarism.html" target="_blank"></a>.The problems depends on the owner of article. They can just warn you or they can complaint about you to your hosting provider. So, to be a good blogger, don't use others works for your blog, create your own. If you can't then stop blogging.<br /> <br /> <strong>Submitting your contents to social bookmarking sites</strong>:-<br /> As a new blogger, your main traffic source will be social bookmarking websites. So most of the new bloggers will submit all their articles to social bookarking websites to get traffic. By this way they will get traffic with some problems.<br /> <br /> If you submit all your contents (from your site) to social bookmarking sites, then they will think that you are spamming them and so there are chances for banning your url. If your url was banned from some best social bookmarking sites like <a href="http://www.digg.com/" target="_blank">Digg</a>, <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/" target="_blank">Stumbleupon</a>, etc., then you are lossing 1000s of traffic. So to have a constant flow of traffic to your blog, use anyone best social bookmarking site to promote your blog and submit your best contents to them (not all). It is more than enough to make your blog successful.<br /> <br /> These are the some of common mistakes which most of the bloggers do, while they are starting a blog. To make a blog successful, these mistakes should be avoided. And also don't forget that, only your contents will make your blog successful, so keep writing, keep on writing, to attain success. Happy Blogging....</p><a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FBlogging-Donts.339817"><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FBlogging-Donts.339817" border="0"/></a>]]></description>

<title>What is the Most Important Thing That a Writer Needs?</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Writing-Business/What-is-the-Most-Important-Thing-That-a-Writer-Needs.336783</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p>Writers need many things &amp;ndash; time, a pinch of talent, something to write with &amp;nbsp;and so on. It helps if they enjoy writing too. In fact, for many people, writing is its own reward, but if you want more than that, if you want to make money writing or to become successful, you need something else. You need to be persistent. To quote from one of my favourite films, GALAXY QUEST, never give up, never surrender.</p>
<p>Every writer has times when the words don&amp;rsquo;t flow as easily as they should, or everything they send to editors and publishers comes bouncing back. Faced with a mountain of rejection letters, it&amp;rsquo;s very easy to stop trying. I know many very talented writers who will never get their books published because they have simply stopped sending their manuscripts out to publishers. They gave up.</p>
<p>I have come very close to this myself, and not just once, but now I&amp;rsquo;ve learned my lesson. That great story that was turned down three times might sell to the fourth person I send it to, but it won&amp;rsquo;t see unless I keep sending it out. I have sold stories at the sixth attempt, sometimes literally years after first writing them. If I think the idea is good, I will keep trying until I either succeed or run out of places to send the story.</p>
<p>Talent on its own is no guarantee of success.</p>
<p>Many talented authors wrote books that were turned down dozens of times before they found a publisher. Catch 22, Watership Down, even Harry Potter. None of those books sold easily. The authors could easily have given up, but they didn&amp;rsquo;t.</p>
<p>So if you want to earn money as a writer. If you want to be successful, there&amp;rsquo;s &amp;nbsp;one thing you really need, and that&amp;rsquo;s persistence.</p><a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FWriting-Business%2FWhat-is-the-Most-Important-Thing-That-a-Writer-Needs.336783"><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FWriting-Business%2FWhat-is-the-Most-Important-Thing-That-a-Writer-Needs.336783" border="0"/></a>]]></description>

<title>Continuing Your Success with Triond</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Online-Writing/Continuing-Your-Success-with-Triond.324183</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p>As an avid reader of other's ideas, tips and resources for becoming a success here in the writer's world of <a href="http://www.triond.com/" target="_blank">Triond</a>, I've decided to see if I could help others as they have helped me. In doing so I've come up with the three best ideas for continuing success:</p>
<ol>
<li>
<h3>Network</h3>
</li>
</ol>
<p>While making friends should be everyone's business it is a critical element here at Triond. The larger your network, the larger your viewing popularity will be and if you reciprocate by reading others' work the karma will return to you many times over. This is a classic case of &amp;ldquo;it is not what you know but who you know&amp;rdquo;. So read, read, read and comment, comment, comment.</p>
<h3>&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 2.&amp;nbsp; Tags for Content</h3>
<p>Most of us probably tag our work according to feeling or thought. I believe that key words in the body of work are important as well. Example, if you are writing a how to article for changing oil in your car, use every synonym associated with oil, change and car. Exactly how we think or use words may not be the same for others.</p>
<h3>&amp;nbsp; 3.&amp;nbsp; Read All How To Articles&amp;nbsp;Relating to&amp;nbsp;Triond</h3>
<p>I have a habit of looking at views and likes for every article I read especially the how to's for overnight Triond stardom. Most of these articles appear pretty successful with views and likes.&amp;nbsp;Each article brings something different to the table and we are all waiting, starving, ready to devour&amp;nbsp;this information. With everyone wanting a large readership we search for offered secrets and hidden treasures and these how to or idea articles are perfect for just that.</p>
<p>I wish much luck and success for us all.</p><a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FContinuing-Your-Success-with-Triond.324183"><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FContinuing-Your-Success-with-Triond.324183" border="0"/></a>]]></description>

<title>Writing for Xomba: An Update</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Online-Writing/Writing-for-Xomba-An-Update.313281</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p>A little over a month ago I joined Xomba, and recently wrote a review about my experiences on the site. When I first joined Xomba, I was full of high hopes, and expected great things from its earnings potential. I had read these fantastic claims about people making a living writing for Xomba, and I'm hoping to make a full time living from my online articles, so I was filled with optimism and eager to get started writing for the site.</p>
<p>As I started to work on Xomba, I felt frustrated because I was writing for the site, but earning next to nothing for my efforts. As I explained in my previous article about Xomba, writers don't get paid by Xomba for page views at the site. Instead, they share in ad revenues generated from clicks on Google AdSense advertisements displayed on Xomba pages. Those who participate in Xomba must insert their Google AdSense account number into their Xomba account, as earnings from Xomba are paid directly through Google AdSense.</p>
<p>As I wrote in my earlier article about Xomba, writers can post Xombytes, which are magazine quality articles of 150 words or more (the word count was recently increased from 100 to 150 words minimum), or Xomblurbs, which are social bookmarks of interesting photos, videos, websites and articles.</p>
<h3>My Xomba Experience</h3>
<p>I have to admit, it was certainly frustrating at first to see some really nice page views for my work on Xomba, but no income. I started out in my first weeks on Xomba posting just a few Xombytes, and a few more Xomblurbs. I was also frustrated when I found out there was an error that meant all my Xombytes didn't link back to my Xomba profile (I thought this error might decrease my earnings if readers couldn't find my Xombytes from my profile.)</p>
<p>When I wrote my review of Xomba, I had earned about 4 cents on the site in about two weeks, and I had received very few clicks. I was thinking about throwing in the towel at Xomba in favor of just spending all my time on sites like Triond and Associated Content, where I receive earnings from page views.</p>
<p>Despite the discouragement, this voice inside said to give Xomba more time. In one of my earliest months working on Triond I didn't even earn enough to qualify for the minimum 50 cent payment amount at PayPal! I've learned as an online writer that things often take time to build, so instead of giving up, I thought I'd still work on Xomba a little bit to see what might happen.</p>
<p>One day shortly after writing my last Xomba review, I logged into my Google AdSense to discover I had 35 cents in my account. Then another day, I had 95 cents in earnings. These figures seem small, but in my early days on Triond and Associated Content, I remember earning literally pennies in a month. Earning almost a dollar a day wasn't common for me, so I felt excited about these Xomba earnings.</p>
<p>A few days ago, I logged into my Google AdSense account on a Sunday afternoon to discover I had earned $3.88 the day before. I was really thrilled to discover that much money from my Xomba earnings. I do have a blog that displays AdSense, but I don't get much traffic because my blog is more of a personal journal, and I don't really monetize or promote my blog right now. I feel that most of the money in my Google AdSense account has been earned from working on Xomba.</p>
<h3>Tips for Working on Xomba</h3>
<p>If you'd like to give Xomba a try, here are some tips that I believe are working for me. So far I've been on Xomba just over a month and I've earned almost ten dollars. It takes a hundred dollars in AdSense earnings to qualify for a payout; however, I have a feeling I'm well on my way to reaching my first hundred dollars on Google AdSense.</p>
<p>As I write this review, I currently have 6 Xombytes and 28 Xomblurbs posted on Xomba. I find that I receive small revenues in my AdSense account each day, even though I haven't invested any time in social bookmarking my Xomba articles. Even though the error in my Xomba account means that my Xombytes aren't linked to my Xomba profile, I don't believe that has really hurt my revenues (because my most recent posts are featured on my profile page and my Xombytes are discoverable to readers by the way they are tagged).</p>
<p>Xomba lists the most popular tags on the site, so I try to create Xomblurbs around these popular tags as much as possible (for example, travel is a popular tag, so I've done some Xomblurbs about travel articles, making sure I also tag my Xomblurb with the word &amp;ldquo;travel&amp;rdquo;). I also try to create a wide variety of Xomblurbs on lots of different topics, hoping something will catch a reader's eye (and perhaps increase my revenues).</p>
<p>I decided to create some Xomblurbs about what I found interesting, things like fashion, or holidays. I think when you bookmark things on Xomba that you like, and write a little description to go with your Xomblurb, you can't go wrong. Readers will pick up on your enthusiasm and in my opinion, that will lead to more readers and increased earnings.</p>
<p>What's nice about Xomba is that you can bookmark your own articles from other sites. I often create Xomblurbs that link to my Triond articles, and I've seen Xomba members link to their blogs and websites. (Please note that creating Xomblurbs that link to your own Xombytes is strictly forbidden, and this is an important point to remember as you are working on Xomba).</p>
<p>Increasing the number of articles called &amp;ldquo;Xombytes&amp;rdquo; has also helped me increase my Xomba revenues. I find that the more of these articles I add on Xomba, the more money I seem to earn on the site. Xomba is a very social site, and it helps to post comments and feedback on other Xombytes and Xomblurbs. I've noticed that the more I comment, the more revenue appears (I think this is because it gets my profile out there so that other members can discover my work on Xomba).</p>
<p>I haven't had time yet to social bookmark my Xomba articles, but Xomba makes it easy for members to do so. Driving traffic to your Xomba pages by getting the word out about them is definitely a way to increase your earnings. I am beginning to think that Xomba might yield a nice passive income stream for me, if I am patient and give it time to develop. With this in mind, I'm trying to add about three to five Xombytes or Xomblurbs a day, just like Xomba recommends in its help pages.</p>
<p>I only give Xomba a little bit of my time and attention and I'm totally surprised that I've received AdSense earnings without a lot of effort on my part. If I added hundreds of pieces of content to Xomba, and increased my Xombytes and Xomblurbs, who knows what could happen? I'm starting to get excited by Xomba's potential (but checking my AdSense earnings throughout the day could become addictive!)</p>
<p>I wanted to update my earlier review about my experiences on Xomba with this new information. While Triond and Associated Content remain my favorite places to write for, and I intend to keep working on both these sites, I'm also going to keep up my work on Xomba. I'm surprised by the total turnaround in my income and the earnings so far. I think combining my earnings from page views with Google AdSense revenues is definitely the way to build a nice income stream as an online writer.</p><a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FWriting-for-Xomba-An-Update.313281"><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FWriting-for-Xomba-An-Update.313281" border="0"/></a>]]></description>

<title>How to Become a Successful Triond Member</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Online-Writing/How-to-Become-Successful-on-Triond.313249</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p>Whether it's poetry, articles, or even a short story, we try hard to get our work noticed. Seeking proper recognition is usually a writer's goal. If this is the goal that you seek, don't give up. Sometimes a writer will give up and start thinking that their piece of work wasn't good enough due to the amount of views they see. If you are concerned about getting more views, read the following tips. These tips seem to have helped me.</p>
<ol>
<li>Use a spell checker. You can these free online and you are no even required to download anything.</li>
<li>Submit and share. Within your content box you have a share option. Submit your work to all if possible. If you don't have an account, now is&amp;nbsp;the time to do so.</li>
<li>Try to have at least 1 blog. Post your work there.</li>
<li><a href="MySpace.com " target="_blank">MySpace.com</a> is a good site to promote your work too.</li>
<li>Have a variety of different types of topics.</li>
<li>After a week or so, you should know your best topics. Create more chosen&amp;nbsp;best topics and work from there.</li>
</ol>
<p>Just remember that the more you submit will raise your chances in becoming a successful <a href="http://www.triond.com/" target="_blank">Triond</a> writer. Don't give up and never under estimate yourself. Practice makes perfect.</p><a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FHow-to-Become-Successful-on-Triond.313249"><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FOnline-Writing%2FHow-to-Become-Successful-on-Triond.313249" border="0"/></a>]]></description>

<title>How to Link Articles: Including Some HTML Basics</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Online-Writing/How-to-Link-Articles-Including-Some-HTML-Basics.308659</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<h3>Luckily, it's a simple process!</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/21/0_51.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/robyn-gallagher/338240235/" target="_blank">Image Source</a></p>
<p><a href="../../../" target="_blank">Triond </a>makes adding links to your articles a simple process. All you need to do is repeat the following structure:</p>
<p>Article name (followed by the) http article address</p>
<p>And, wah lah! - You're done.</p>
<p>Just as you add links for the pictures in your articles, follow the same pattern for links to your articles.</p>
<h3>Can you place links anywhere in your article?</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/21/1_8.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jefield/1119389/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>Yes, sometimes it's a good idea to place relevant links within your article. Just follow the directions above and add them to any place in the body of your work.</p>
<p>Sometimes it's best to add links within the context of your writing, while other times it's a good idea to entertain your readers with great work and then leave them with direct ways to find more of your work. If they love one of your articles, they are sure to love your other articles as well. Make it easy for them to find more of your work that is subject matter specific.</p>
<p>In addition, sometimes it's a good idea to add links that have nothing to do with the subject of your article, especially with some of your more innovative, unique pieces. This can entice and intrigue the reader and make them need to read on. Use your best judgment, ingenuity, and gifts to fullest extent! The world and everyone in it will only be better as a result.</p>
<h3>My article has been published, but the link has not been properly formatted.</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/21/2_5.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/plindberg/2872583288/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>I have found this to be the case sometimes. I realize that the Triond staff is very busy and sometimes they can make a mistake here and there. I know I've made more mistakes than I care to recount. So, I have found that if I simply add a note at the top of the Word document that I submit for publishing that gives instructions to make all the links like they do for the picture source links, I am quite pleased with the results.</p>
<p>When you write any note to Triond editors, I find it's best to make sure to add that the note needs to be taken out of the article, just to be on the safe side. I have worked as an editor before, and it is not an easy job. I commend them for all the amazing work they are able to produce on our behalf. It is quite extraordinary when you think about it. New writers sign up for this site everyday and yet, somehow, they continue to be able to publish our work within 24 hours. They are a blessing to all of us.</p>
<h3>Do you have a blog?</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/21/11_2.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/liewcf/971674606/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>If you have a blog and want to create a link, then you need to know a little HTML.</p>
<p>When it comes to computers and technology, I must admit, I am typically all thumbs, but through trial and error, I was able to successfully figure it out that HTML is truly like any other language, once you learn a few things you start to realize that when codes are placed in a specific order (like letters in the alphabet), you can create many intriguing things!</p>
<p>So, if you want to link your articles to your blog format and/or posts, all you need to do is the following:</p>
<p>(PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE FACT THAT TRIOND'S PUBLISHING FEATURE RE-FORMATS THE FORMAT BELOW I HAD TO ADD A SPACE BETWEEN THE "&amp;lt;" SYMBOL THE FORMAT.&amp;nbsp; PLEASE USE THE FORMULAS BELOW, BUT TAKE THE SPACES OUT.)</p>
<p>&amp;lt; a href="<a href="&amp;lt;a href=" target="_blank">www.YourHTTPArticleAddress.com</a>" &amp;gt;Your Article Name&amp;lt; /a &amp;gt;</p>
<p>The first part of the formula above within the &amp;ldquo;&amp;lt; &amp;gt;&amp;rdquo; symbols is the destination and the second part is what shows up on your article as the link to click on.</p>
<p>Thus, the link would look like this:</p>
<p>Your Article Name</p>
<h4>And, in closing, here are a few more HTML coding tips that make a difference in your work:</h4>
<p>Add spacing to your work.</p>
<p>Place <br />after the coding sentence above and you will add a space.</p>
<p><br />&amp;lt; br / &amp;gt;= space.</p>
<p>Do you want to bold or italicize something in your work?</p>
<p><strong>&amp;lt; b &amp;gt; <strong>= bold<br /></strong></strong>&amp;lt; b / &amp;gt; = end bold</p>
<p>&amp;lt; i &amp;gt; = italicize</p>
<p>&amp;lt; /i &amp;gt; = end italicizing</p>

<title>Why Deleting Comments Does a Writer Good</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Writing/Why-Deleting-Comments-Does-a-Writer-Good.302919</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/0_24.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/geishaboy500/541493823/" target="_blank">Source&amp;nbsp;</a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/geishaboy500/541493823/" target="_blank"></a></p>
<p>I have written over a thousand freelance articles during the past two years.&amp;nbsp; These articles have ranged in subject matter from poetry to health to motivational and inspirational in nature.&amp;nbsp; They have come from my heart and with time, I'd like to think that the quality and content has improved and only gotten better.&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p>Within this time, the vast majority of comments I have received (especially from <a href="../../../" target="_blank">Triond</a> members) have been supportive, uplifting and a godsend truly beyond what words of gratitude could ever fully express.&amp;nbsp; But,&amp;nbsp;on the rarest of occasions I do happen to receive some not so pleasant comments.</p>
<p>I know many new and seasoned writers have experienced similar unwelcome comments and I write this article mainly for them; as support and a reminder that this world would&amp;nbsp;not be as limitlessly beautiful if these unpleasant, momentary nuisances deterred them from pursuing their writing dreams.&amp;nbsp; I write this to say to my beloved, fellow writers, please keep writing; hold fast to your dreams - the world needs the&amp;nbsp;endless pure light that shines brilliantly from your heart illuminating even the darkest night that attempts to extinguish it.</p>
<p>So, onward we go:</p>
<p>When you take the time to sit back and reflect, you begin to see things with greater clarity. You are able to suddenly realize the&amp;nbsp;toughest of critics&amp;nbsp;are merely trying to frighten and make you question the true intention of your work - and I implore you all, do not let them.&amp;nbsp; As artists, creators and inventors of new visions and ideas, you are leading the world toward greater things, away from boredom, away from a static existence, and, ironically, closer toward the fulfillment of their dreams.&amp;nbsp; The fear and emotional upset critics are placing on you is actually a reflection of what holds them back from pursuing the beautiful passion found within&amp;nbsp;every heart when the spirit is calm and peace allows it to flow naturally.</p>
<p>Trust with everything in your heart that despite human err or unkind critique, the good, uplifting message in your heart will always transcend any potential obstacle.&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/1_3.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nirak/2854421030/" target="_blank">Source</a>&amp;nbsp;</p>
<h3>So, Why Does Deleting Comments Do a Writer Good?</h3>
<p>I'm a voracious reader.&amp;nbsp; I enjoy delving into&amp;nbsp;new concepts and ideas that help me reach all my dreams and goals.&amp;nbsp; Many of the books I read explain that you must focus on the best things in life, people who only support your dreams, and positive energy, etc.&amp;nbsp; What you think about most, manifests in your life and reality.&amp;nbsp; If you focus on the positive, more will develop in your life; if you focus on the negative, logically, the opposite is true as well.</p>
<p>Said another way, everything is important, from what you listen to, to whom you surround yourself with, to what you decide to eat during the day.&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p>Now, metaphorically, take a moment to reflect upon the comparison below:</p>
<p>Most people have encountered an uncomfortable food situation like the following: Someone you know tells you that you&amp;nbsp;should eat something they made.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The food item&amp;nbsp;is fried,&amp;nbsp;unhealthy&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;upon offering&amp;nbsp;it to you, they explain that it&amp;nbsp;would hurt their feelings&amp;nbsp;if you do not eat it.&amp;nbsp; This does not mean that you have to eat it.&amp;nbsp; If it&amp;nbsp;is not good for you, if it will knock you off your&amp;nbsp;healthy lifestyle goals, and if it will make you feel guilty in the process,&amp;nbsp;there is absolutely all the logic in the world to not only eliminate that influence,&amp;nbsp;but to block&amp;nbsp;it from being able to enter your world at&amp;nbsp;all.&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p>You have a duty and right to protect yourself&amp;nbsp;from&amp;nbsp;any person who offers you something that is not good for your health!&amp;nbsp; Yes, this is contrary to much that our society supports.&amp;nbsp; Be polite; do not hurt another person's feelings, etc. However, I'm a big believer in "out of the box" thinking.&amp;nbsp; Furthermore, based off statistics, about 85% of the population is overweight.&amp;nbsp; Are you going to listen to the people who remain overweight or your own intuition, the voice from your spirit that loves you the most?</p>
<h3>Comparably Words are Literally "Food for Thought"</h3>
<p>If a reader does not like your work, that's completely fine; to each their own.&amp;nbsp; This is what makes life interesting, if we all liked the same things, our world would be a very different place.&amp;nbsp; But, if you do not like the comment, if it makes you feel bad, deleting comments is perfectly fine, logical and success reinforcing.</p>
<h3>Regarding the Critics</h3>
<h4>In my opinion, constructive criticism is just that - it's constructive. <br /></h4>
<p>Constructive means it helps build, not destroy or leave you feeling deflated, guilty or hurt in the process.&amp;nbsp; When you build something, like a house for example, you might constructively say to the architect: "You know that window would be better over here where the sun rises&amp;nbsp;because it&amp;nbsp;will help keep the heating bills down."&amp;nbsp; This comment does not discount the architect's original idea it simply suggests a new idea (building off yours) that could greatly improve your life!&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p>When reader's leave comments like this, then you have the decision to either "move the window" or keep it where you originally placed it because maybe you liked the window where it was.&amp;nbsp; Maybe it was an artistic, sentimental, or just your own personal prerogative reason.&amp;nbsp; You see, this is the power and freedom of art and creating.&amp;nbsp; It is a reflection of the heart and no two hearts are or will ever be&amp;nbsp;the same.&amp;nbsp; When we are able to universally realize this, we can then accept and develop a greater appreciation for the fact that there truly is no right or wrong way to express the heart (except of course, if it is with the purposeful intent to harm another person, which is not art).&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/2_2.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/michellebascom/2767088696/" target="_blank">Source&amp;nbsp;</a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/michellebascom/2767088696/" target="_blank"></a></p>
<p>True artists understand that their work is meant to teach and inspire others&amp;nbsp;about how infinitely precious life is and in turn each and every person. Again, your purpose is to lift others up and show them that they too can reach their dreams. You cannot do this if they are able to successfully pull you down to their level.&amp;nbsp;</p>
<p>In the end, no matter how much we try to interpret another's art, we will never fully know what the artist's vision was.&amp;nbsp; Again, the greatest purpose of art is to help us understand our own hearts and how we can find common ties that link us all together universally.&amp;nbsp; The greatest lesson we learn in the process is that everything we see in our world is actually a reflection of who we are.&amp;nbsp; You can only see in others what you see in yourself. So, ironically, the critics are actually&amp;nbsp;revealing their flaws,&amp;nbsp;insecurities, etc to you.&amp;nbsp; Given that fact, you can either focus on them or just let them fade softly away like you do worries and instead let confidence and strength guide your path to success.</p>
<p>So, do yourself a favor, delete comments if they make you feel bad in any way.&amp;nbsp; It's like opting for an "apple a day" over food that's not good for you.&amp;nbsp; It does a writer good.</p>
<p>You have the power to make all your decisions; choose the very best ones for you and the betterment of mankind.</p>
<p>Remember writing takes exceptional courage. When you write from the heart, it is an exhilarating and sometimes terrifying feeling. You are basically saying to the world, this is me take it or leave it. It is also widely known that public speaking is one of the greatest fears in society, sometimes rated higher than death. Writing is a form of public speaking. And, in the end, this is why I decided to publish this article. It is my way of standing up for my fellow writers and me. Never let anyone frighten you and make you think your dreams are unattainable. Never!</p>

<title>How to Remain Inspired</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Online-Writing/How-to-Remain-Inspired.301781</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<h3>My response follows:</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/0_3.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/drnewton/517371624/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>I understand your concerns. While this is not always the case for those magical articles that end up with consistent and growing views, sometimes when you have a really great article, it can become popular very quickly and then fade into the background again just as suddenly. This can be explained by a wide number of reasons, such as its initial high visibility (i.e., in the "Hot Content" list, on the top article page on Quazen, or AuthSpot, etc.) and or subject matter trend, thus, branding it inherently short lived. So, understandably, as this particular type of article's "new-ness" wears off, so too do its views.</p>
<h3>But there is a remedy to this seemingly unsolvable problem.</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/1_1.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellasdad/457521627/sizes/m/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>As I have stated in past articles, linking past articles to new articles is a sure cure to this predicament. It is an extraordinarily effective way to keep all your work in "fresh circulation" and readily accessible to your readers. In addition, the more links an article has, the higher Google ranks your work in its search engine results (I read this somewhere and it makes logical sense).</p>
<h3>Expecting higher earnings per page views?</h3>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/2_1.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/roland/100853718/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>With regard to earnings, I have read somewhere that this varies based on the ads on your article, the website it is published to, etc. Again, this makes logical sense. And from observation, I have noticed that my articles published on Healthmad.com tend to earn more money per view than those that are published on AuthSpot.com.</p>
<p>Stated in the following article:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.socyberty.com/Lifestyle-Choices/Rome-Wasnt-Built-Overnight.38330" target="_blank">Rome Was Not Built Overnight</a></p>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/3_6.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jason-riedy/2605699662/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>It is, thus, important to keep in mind that Triond is by no means an overnight oasis, (although it could be if you end up with some incredible titles and or produce many articles at once). Instead, if you see it for what it most realistically is, a means to achieve residual income for life and that by producing enough quality material, the numbers alone (i.e. number of articles published, with links, etc) will produce the results you aspire to reach, you will be able to remain focused with a clear understanding of your progress that supports your dreams and keeps your spirits high.</p>
<p>The following article reminds you to always remember to:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.socyberty.com/Lifestyle-Choices/Dream-Big-Dream-Wide-Its-Never-Too-Late.291527" target="_blank">Dream Big, Dream Wide, It's Never Too Late</a></p>
<p><img src="http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2008/10/18/4_1.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/4yas/2110952454/" target="_blank">Image Source<br /></a></p>
<p>I once spoke to a billionaire who began his journey to success with only a $1,000 investment. Twenty years later, through steadfast resolve, his vision was materialized in wealth beyond his dreams. If he can do it, so can you! Despite what anyone says, especially yourself (in those moments of self-questioning), you can achieve any level of success you dream of, just believe with everything in your heart that you have no limitations in life and then, take the time to truly understand the reality of the field you have targeted. With these elements in mind, your growing success is unstoppable!</p>

<title>The Best Way to Jazz Up Your Writing</title>
<link>http://www.writinghood.com/Style/The-Best-Way-to-Jazz-Up-Your-Writing.301309</link>
<description>
<![CDATA[<p>Years ago when I was starting out as a writer I got a part-time job as a social columnist for a local newspaper in New Jersey. I worked Friday and Saturday nights, going to charity balls and dinners attended by some of the State&amp;rsquo;s wealthiest and most successful people. I had to buy a tuxedo, because most of these events were black-tie, and I would be hobnobbing with a lot of men in tuxedos and women in elegant gowns. I would stay for a few hours, interview some of the movers and shakers, and then head back to the newspaper to file my story. This was before laptop computers and e-mail, so I couldn&amp;rsquo;t write the story and file it from my home or a Starbucks. I had to go the newsroom and write my story on a big, clunky, desktop computer, and from there the story was edited and put in the next day&amp;rsquo;s edition of the newspaper. <br />The first story I wrote was about a fundraising dinner for a local ballet company. There were beautiful women in gowns everywhere, svelte ballerinas mingling in the crowd, and waiters serving champagne and caviar before dinner. There was a violin quartet playing, a terrace that looked out upon a golf course bathed in the golden light of the setting sun, and the smell of perfume everywhere. <br /><br />I was entranced with it all, but I tried not to get distracted; I had a job to do. I sought out the people I needed to interview, conducted my interviews in workmanlike fashion, and then left before dessert to go file my story. I spent an hour or so writing the story back at the newsroom, making sure I got all my facts and figures right, and then watched while my editor read my final version. <br /><br />She curled her lip in disgust. <br /><br />&amp;ldquo;This is the most boring story I&amp;rsquo;ve ever read,&amp;rdquo; she said. &amp;ldquo;I&amp;rsquo;ve seen your freelance clips, so I know you can write better than this, but this is terrible.&amp;rdquo;<br /><br />&amp;ldquo;What&amp;rsquo;s the matter?&amp;rdquo; I said, stunned. <br /><br />&amp;ldquo;It has no personality,&amp;rdquo; she snapped. &amp;ldquo;It&amp;rsquo;s just a listing of the facts and figures. If that was all I wanted I could have just printed the press release they sent me. I sent you there to paint a picture, to give your impressions of the event, to make it come alive for our readers. I want to know not just who was there, but what they were wearing, what funny or interesting things they said, what the food tasted like. This is a social column, remember? You&amp;rsquo;ll have to do better.&amp;rdquo;<br /><br />It was a shock to me to have my story ripped apart like that, but it was one of the best writing lessons I ever had &amp;ndash; and it was from a newspaper editor, a person you&amp;rsquo;d normally think was only interested in the facts of a story. <br /><br />The editor wasn&amp;rsquo;t telling me to neglect the facts, she was asking me to take the facts and make them come alive. Only by adding sensory details, emotion, and even injecting my personality into the story could I do that. <br /><br />I went back and rewrote the story, and this time I talked about the elegant ballerinas who strode around with their backs erect, like tigresses on the prowl. I tossed off a line about how easy it is to get used to someone serving you champagne in a fluted glass. I wrote about the heiresses dripping with jewels who served on the Board of the dance company. I put some of myself into the story, and this time the editor smiled and said, &amp;ldquo;Good job&amp;rdquo;. <br /><br />In the years that passed I have sometimes forgotten that lesson, but my most successful writing has always occurred when I remembered it. Why is that? It&amp;rsquo;s because writing that has personality stands out. It makes an impression on readers. It&amp;rsquo;s unforgettable.<br /><br />These days, that lesson is more important than ever. With all the competition for a reader&amp;rsquo;s time, writing has to jump off the page (or the screen) in order for a reader to give it a second look. <br /><br />Nobody wants to waste their time reading just the facts &amp;ndash; they want lights, action, drama. They want the writer&amp;rsquo;s impressions and thoughts about what he or she is writing about. <br /><br />Make it personal. Make it colorful. Put yourself into the story. If something strikes you as funny, put that in. If you think it&amp;rsquo;s sad, then talk about that too. <br /><br />The reason blogs are so successful and newspapers are dying is just this: blogs have more personality. The average big-city newspaper these days is as dull as dishwater. Bloggers take the news and inject their own personalities into it, telling readers what they find fascinating, or outrageous, or funny, or disgusting about each story. <br /><br />No matter what you&amp;rsquo;re writing, unless it&amp;rsquo;s a paper for an academic journal, you can make it more appealing by putting yourself into the mix. <br /><br />Get the facts right, by all means, but after that? Give your writing some personality. <br /></p><a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FStyle%2FThe-Best-Way-to-Jazz-Up-Your-Writing.301309"><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.writinghood.com%2FStyle%2FThe-Best-Way-to-Jazz-Up-Your-Writing.301309" border="0"/></a>]]></description>
