An Absolutely Legitimate, Free and Fun Way to Make Money Online

There are a few ways out there to make money online. I found a few sites that were legitimate--you won’t get rich quick like others promise, but you will make a little extra spending money. For stay at home moms (like me) it helps when you want to take the kids for a little treat once in a while. I will share with you what I know--for free!

A lot of places promise that you will get rich quick. You fill out all this information about yourself just to get to the end of the registration and find out that you either have to sign up for some kind of magazine subscription or you have to pay for a list. Just a little heads up-- after you pay, you will get a list, but it is usually outdated so it does you no good. Then there is the mystery shopper job. I still haven’t found a site for this where you don’t have to pay for a list. I think the safest thing to do is probably to call the company you want to work for and ask them if they hire mystery shoppers. I really don't know how to get a job doing this, but I have looked hard to find one! If I do, I will let everyone out there know and I won't charge! I think it's so unfair how people do that!

Anyway, those are things I have found that don’t work. Then, I was looking on craigslist one day and saw for my state where you can look up writing jobs. They directed me to a site called print and post. There I found out that you can write blogs, stories, poems or just upload pictures--anything you want as long as it is your own work. I’m sure they probably don’t want really offensive things either, but you can check (not that I expect anyone wants to be offensive). From there I was directed to Triond where I opened an account. I have uploaded pictures and researched some things then I wrote a little research story about it. If you have a computer, you can research anything! And you can upload pictures as long as there is no copyright on it. And please, don't write things word for word when you find information. That is stealing someone else's work! After you write your piece and fix it just the way you want, you upload it to Triond. From there, they will publish it on the web for you. They made it so easy to do!

After your blog, picture, etc is published, companies will put their advertisements on it for people to see when they click on it. Make your piece interesting so more people will go to it. The more people who click on your site, the more you will make. Now you won’t get rich from it, but like I said you will make a little extra spending money. And the more you get published, the more you will make. You get paid once a month and it's fun to keep track of how much you are making and how many people visit your site.

Another free way to make money online without any upfront costs is to view paid emails. There is a site that I have found called Hits4Pay. They will pay you ten dollars to sign on and then for every email you read, you get paid two cents. Now you won't get rich quick, but those two cents begin adding up and you can earn a little extra spending money in time. If you have lots of friends, you can refer them to this site and earn when they view emails too. This can really add up fast! To get to that site, simply click on this link: http://hits4pay.com/members/index.cgi?SueB

As I find other sites to help you earn money while you are at home with your kids, during your free time, or even as an easy part time job, I will let you know. I update this site often to keep it fresh, so check back! I will never put a site on here that costs money or that I haven't joined and know is safe. It takes a while because there are so many "tricks" out there, but they are out there to be found--and they are FREE!

Go ahead and try it--it’s absolutely free and it’s really fun! Good luck and God bless!

How to Make Money Online Writing Reviews for Review Stream

At Review Stream, there is no registration needed. You simply need to decide on a pen name (you can use your real name if you like), key in your email address, and submit your review. Each review needs to have a title, the review content, a category and your rating (1-10). Subsequently, you have a choice of whether you want to paid at the bulk rate if your review is not being accepted for the full rate. The full rate currently stands at $2 per review. If your review is accepted only at bulk rate, you will be paid 20% of the full rate which is 40 cents.

Once you have successfully submitted your review, there will be an e-mail confirmation. The editorial team will then review your review, and send another e-mail confirmation upon acceptance or rejection of it.

I have submitted some 23 book and website reviews, but they have all been paid at the bulk rate. So at one time, I thought that this must be a scam, paying us peanuts for our writing efforts. If all my reviews are at bulk rate, I would have to write 125 reviews to reach payout! That's not very encouraging and simply too much work. The task ahead looks impossible, so left the site for a couple of months.

Then I read about a freelance writer who got paid by Review Stream after completing a certain number of reviews. Some of her reviews were paid at the full rate while others were paid at the bulk rate. Once she reached the minimum payout, which took 1 month to complete, she requested for her payment. She received it within 6 hours upon request. The site is legitimate afterall!

I was truly inspired by her achievement and decided to put in a little more effort writing the reviews. So I decided to implement some strategies to earn more money.

Review topics

First of all, the types of reviews matter. I was writing reviews on books and websites which are not among the "wanted" categories. Reviews on travel, hotels, cars, insurance are often the ones which are paid at the full rate. So I gave it a shot. I wrote a few hotel reviews based on the ones I recently went to, and I was paid at the full rate. Excellent!

Check out the list of wanted reviews

There is also a list of reviews wanted by readers. They are based on what people searched for at Review Stream. You may find something which interests you to write about. I have not really tried these categories, but I believe that your reviews will also be accepted at the full rate, since it is based on what readers are searching for.

Bulk rate vs Full rate

There are some reviewers who implement this strategy which I'm also trying out. They choose not to be paid at the bulk rate when submitting their reviews. Subsequently if they were not accepted, they would rewrite them to improve them and resubmit. It is a lot of work and time spent though.

Review everything

I have opened my eyes to everything I can see, touch, feel and experience when it comes to thinking about the different things I can review. When I'm at a loss, I usually think about what I did that particular day. For instance, I may have visited a restaurant, went shopping or watched a movie. Restaurants, shops and movies are all things you can review.

Write a good review

When writing a good review, it is important that you include your personal opinion and experience in it. People are not looking into getting descriptions they can find on the web, they want to know how you felt about the product or service. So be specific!

Word Count

So as not to have your reviews rejected by Review Stream, each review must have at least 200 words. It is best that you use an online word count tool and check for the number of words before submitting them. If you don't have 200 words, your reviews will be rejected immediately and shown a message saying that your review is not valuable to them. The words may sound harsh but it deters people who write one-liner reviews in the hope of getting paid.

Review Stream takes 3-5 days to review your reviews before accepting or rejecting them. Sometimes, they take a bit longer. I do get a little frustrated though. Currently I have 8 reviews which have been submitted and awaiting confirmation. I just have to be patient since this really is a legitimate site afterall. To all reviewers out there, all the best!

Marketing for Beginners: Choosing Your Online Publisher

While it is true that some publishers do pay a great deal more than others do, but where those low paying publishers lack, they will -- many times deliver you larger audiences, so to know your handiwork. This is the time to decide upon the right publisher for you as you take a silent inventory of exactly the kind of writer that you will introduce to the publisher that you have elected to write for.

Let's say that you are a poet and your first and foremost inter desire is to write to express yourself to the world, in your own uniquely individual way. Making money hasn't even crossed your mind not once since you first discovered the endless possibilities that the Internet is changing the landscape for determine dedicated writer. Where oh where can a relatively unknown poet get noticed?

Poetry

This is the largest poetry community on the Internet and the traffic exposure that your writings can potentially receive after your poetry has been published on the website for public viewing. Besides, Poetry.com holding writing contests, this opportunity doesn't pay writers who publish their poetry on their website.

After you have writing for Poetry.com for a while and earning an audience that loyally follow your writings, then you just might be ready to shift gears and start writing for money on the Internet. After all, you already have a loyal audience that if informed would most likely read your writings no matter where you decide to write.

Triond

This is a genuine online publisher that shares the advertising revenue earned from views received for a writer's work during a 30-day period of time. Promising poets choosing to write for Triond can earn real cash for writing their thoughts and emotions for everyone to experience. Even poets and writers just starting out as professional Internet content writers, can attract a larger audience and make some money, because of the website's popularity.

Maybe after writing freelance for a revenue sharing online publisher and sharpening your word skills, it is time to give you a most deserved raise and promotion. You have earned the loyalty and admiration of hundreds of thousands of fans and have experience a taste of the income potential that your writing can potentially earn. Keeping in mind that you and your Internet publisher share the advertising revenue 50/50 and if you can manage publishing your own work on the Internet it can potentially increase your income by double of that earning presently.

Blogspot

This offers writers the opportunity to create your own blog and add your own Google Adsense Code, so you can earn a potentially huge income from the blog, especially if your blog manages to become extremely popular.

Popular bloggers who's blogs attracts 10s of thousands of readers or more can attract additional income opportunities from businesses, services and other website webmasters who wish to pay for these bloggers to write and post a paid advert within their blog. Some paid bloggers earn six-figure incomes each year.

These particular online publishing opportunities are not by far the only paying or non-paying writing opportunities on the Internet. There are many, many different ones some that share revenue, others that create valuable exposure for the author's writings, and lastly, those publishing opportunities that specialize in a targeted writing genre.

Content Thievery: The Beginning of the End

The sad part is they're completely wrong and that would never happen anyway. The main reason I'm writing this is because I've had my article stolen four times. If you look way back into the archive for 5 Easy Steps To Making Money Blogging, that's the one that seems to be a popular article for thievery.

I was playing around with Google, checking my rankings (not high at all) and I saw an exact copy and paste of that article on some other random Blogspot site that had no other content other than my article and a million ads from across the internet. I was extremely offended and I left a comment immediately letting him/her know it. The only thing I can say was good about this whole spiel was the fact that it felt great catching someone in the act.

On a more serious note, if you're thinking about just taking content from someone else and putting it on your page, do it the right way. Link to them. Bloggers love links! You can write your own article and if it is related to theirs, link to it! There's no reason that anyone can't come up with their own intelligent articles. I know that most people who do so are highly misinformed and are most likely trying to get a quick buck through AdSense. Which doesn't happen unless you're getting at least 10,000 visitors a day. Good luck getting that with one article.

Just remember that if you really admire someone's work, then give them a link, help them out, talk to the webmaster, tell him/her that you put a link up and that you like their articles. In most cases, webmasters and bloggers alike will appreciate this and help you out in return. Bloggers aren't competitive in most cases. Sure they want to be ranked first on Google for a specific keyword, but in most cases, all the Pro Bloggers you see dominating search engines and hit counters are all helping each other out with links, reviews, and more.

One of the major requirements for Blogging is creativity. Be creative, use your imagination (even if you're an adult, we all know that you're 21 on the inside, or so you keep telling your nephews and nieces each birthday). Making money online isn't hard as long as you're dedicated and willing to keep at it. These are not common signs of a content thief, so I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at. In case you don't, I'm going to summarize it all up right here:

Don't steal! If you can't do it yourself, don't!
