Growing Your Triond Community Grows Your Earnings

One of the most important aspects of Triond aside from writing quality content is to build a community. You ask why this is important? Well anytime someone adds me as a friend I add them as well. Each time that person publishes something new I visit it and read it! I have noticed others do the same to the point where no matter what I publish I get 10-15 views just from my Triond friends!

Now you are thinking, how do I get Triond friends and a lot of them? I did not know how important it was until after I had published a large amount of articles. In retrospect I would have spent my first week or so on Triond with only 5 or so articles! I would have spent my time getting to know other users and reading popular content for ideas on which were the best to write and which attracted the most friends! While doing this I would have made friends with any author I noticed doing well or even just trying hard! I would comment on their posts and end them a message to get to know them! This will ensure you both enjoy reading the work of the other and you will help each other achieve success by building views and comments on each others work! Imagine if in one week you made 100 solid friends on Triond, if you publish an article you will be guaranteed 100 views! I personally think that is worth it! You can also go to your "fans" page and view all your fans, send them each a message and become their friend as well! This will make everyone happy as they now get to talk to you and you will read each others work! As you get more friends you will notice it gets easier and easier to make more and more friends on Triond! I have not encountered a mean person on Triond yet. Well aside from C. Jordan! (just joking your awesome!) So don't be afraid to make friends!

I would like to end this post with my personal assurance that if you help others they will help you! Build a base of friends and support each other in your efforts! Comment on the work of others! Don't be afraid to "like" someone else's article because it will make more competition! Write as best you can and you will have success! That is a promise! I will also ask you to personally add me as your friend and I will add you as well and I will help you in any way I can! Let's get your friends list growing!

Seven Steps to Optimize Triond Earnings

I have tried quite a few things on Triond to get the most views to my articles. I want people to read my work and appreciate it! I have over time developed a winning strategy for writing good quality articles and getting people to read them. However the only problem is that good quality isn't what Triond users look for!

The first thing you need to do on Triond is form a goal! My goal was 100$ a day, which I realize may take years if ever. When you realize your goal is insanely large then you simply set short term goals. My current goal is 1$ a day by the end of this week! I am nearing that goal already! Eventually I will achieve 100$ a day with a lot of hard work and thought, which leads us to another topic.

Consistency and hard work are important to creating the amount of content you need to earn a good amount monthly from Triond! I try to write 5 or 6 articles daily. After 3 months I will have 500 articles or more which will generate a modest residual income! The amount of income you earn on Triond is almost solely based on how many articles you write! Unless you write to a niche that is popular and no one else writes! (good luck)

Quality work is also a serious thing. If I am going to do some reading and I find that one author has 300 articles so I decide to start reading and the first 3 are complete dribble I am going to forever ignore that author as their sole aim is income! I chose Triond as a little something on the side because I actually get really excited about writing for other people and don't want to do it full time or in large books etc. If your goal is solely money, the door is in the top right, there is a big red X go click it!

Optimization is an important part of Triond. I would like to think my content in the beginning was quality and I know some of it was but most people are attracted to lists. Therefore if you ant maximized views of your work, mind you he work must be good for this to serve a purpose otherwise you prove to be a nuisance, the best thing you can do is make a list and include the number in the title. This discourages me as I love to write stories and explanations and talk about society but the viewers just don't go for those sorts of things!

Community, if you want to be well known in Triond so people visit your new articles then you must participate in the community aspect! I try to respond to most comments people make or act on them depending on what it is about! The more friends you have the more will respect you and read your material!

Friends and family are also in integral part of Triond if you have 10 people reading all your new articles you are guaranteed to make a few cents when you take the time to write something that is worth reading!

Friendly! Write good stuff view other peoples articles, try to have excitement in your work and set goals! Best of luck to you and feel free to add me as a friend:)

Triond: A User's Review

Triond is a special kind of website. It's not your usual website by any stretch of the imagination. Triond is a website where you submit articles, pictures, images or audio, and you get paid for it too. Triond will host it on one of their many sites, such as Gameolosophy, Bizcovering, Quazen or Webupon, and then you will get paid royalties every time that it is visited. That's right, Triond pays you to host your work on their websites.

I've been with Triond now for about 1 year, and I've made over $120.00. Some may look at this figure and be amazed that so many can be earned online on one site. Others will look at it and think it is a waste of time. But I have a word of warning for everyone. It is neither amazing nor a waste of time. I have only written 35 articles to date on Triond, and I've earned that much from them. 35 articles take very little time to write, and yet I've earned $120.00 from them. Not only that, but I will continue to earn from those articles, and any new articles I may choose to write, forever. For the time it takes to write one article, I will continue to earn cash for the rest of Triond's existence. That's no waste of time in my opinion. There are users on Triond who earn far more than me, and you or I could match them if we so choose. All you have to do is dedicate some time to Triond, believe that it can help you earn extra cash, and in no time at all you will be earning that extra cash. Triond has done wonders for me. It has improved my writing skills, it has given me extra cash to spend on things that I want to buy, and it has given me more confidence in my journalism skills. It can do this, and much, much more for you too. If you're interested, why not check it out now. It's just a click away. This may be your present, but Triond could be your future.

Can You Make Money Writing for Xomba?

For a while now, I've been hearing about writers who say they make a lot of money writing for the website Xomba.com. I recently read an article about one writer who said she makes fifty to sixty dollars a day on Xomba, enough to pay for her college expenses (and she only works two hours a day on her Xomba articles!) As I researched Xomba, I also heard stories about writers making thousands of dollars a month in revenue from the site.

I was skeptical about some of these fantastic claims about Xomba. However, I'm really trying to make a full time living from my online writing, so I decided to look into Xomba.com and find out what it was all about. Could Xomba really provide me with that elusive full time writing income I've been hoping for?

Getting Started With Xomba

Full of optimism, I decided to give Xomba.com a chance and signed up for an account with the site. Xomba is a revenue sharing site that is a bit different in its approach than Triond or Associated Content. In order to participate in Xomba, you must have a Google Adsense account (which is relatively easy to obtain.) Sign up for Google Adsense at the website www.google.com/adsense , or register for a new account through Xomba (I already had a Google Adsense account through my blog on Blogger.com.)

Once you are approved by Google Adsense and you have your Adsense account number, you then insert it in your Xomba account. Google ads are then placed on all your writings on Xomba, and you share in the ad revenues whenever someone clicks on an ad that is shown on your Xomba articles.

Excited by the prospect of earning big bucks with Google Adsense, I went to work on Xomba. In fact, I was initially so excited by the thought of earning money with Xomba.com, that I planned to focus a lot of my attention there, and cut back on my article writing for Triond and Associated Content.

I think that was a big mistake, because my experience with Xomba has been hugely disappointing so far. I definitely prefer Associated Content, and especially Triond, to writing for Xomba.

My Experience with Xomba

There are two types of content that can be posted on Xomba.com. According to Xomba, “Xombytes” are magazine type articles of 100 words or more. In my experience, lots of Xombytes aren't 100 words in length and are just excuses to post links to other websites, or the author's own products. “Xomblurbs” are used for social bookmarking purposes; a Xomblurb is a link to an interesting website, blog, photo, or news story, with a brief description of the link and no minimum word count for that description.

I'm heading into my second week on Xomba, and I've posted a few Xombytes (articles) and some Xomblurbs. Each day I eagerly log into my Google Adsense account, and I've had lots of page views, but only one click. That one click has earned me a grand total of four cents so far! It's very frustrating to see my work on Xomba getting page views, and not earning any income on the page views like I would on Associated Content or Triond.

Xomba made a serious mistake in my user profile that will probably drag down my page views and my potential to earn money from those valuable clicks on ads. I noticed on my Xomba profile that my Xombytes are not visible from that page. When someone visits my profile and wants to click on my Xombytes to read more, they are taken to the Xomba homepage. There is no link to my Xombytes from my user profile.

I contacted technical support and they responded that it definitely was an error, and it was being sent to “a programmer to take a look at it.” Meanwhile, I'm losing potential revenue, as Xomba readers can't find any of my Xombytes from my profile page. To me, this is a serious error, one I've never had on any other website I write for. As I write this, Xomba has still not corrected the error on my profile.

Some Xomba members have literally thousands of Xomblurbs that they've posted to the site. If you are going to give Xomba a try and hope to earn big dollars there, then posting tons of Xomblurbs or Xombytes is the way to do it. Also, consider writing Xombytes and Xomblurbs that contain popular tags; those are the hot topics that people are searching for on Xomba.

Getting your Xomba work out there through social bookmarking, and building traffic to Xomba articles should also increase your revenues. In order to earn money on Xomba, you must drive a lot of traffic to your Xombytes and Xomblurbs, and hope that your visitors will also click on some Google ads. Xomba itself will not pay for any page views to your articles, and revenue is only earned directly through Google Adsense. So it's conceivable that you could work really hard on Xomba and write a lot, and not see a dime unless you get clicks on some ads. That has definitely been my experience with Xomba.

In my opinion, I much prefer the slow and steady money making that occurs with Triond and Associated Content, than I do the gamble on earning big bucks with Xomba that doesn't seem to be working for me. While I'm willing to give Xomba a chance to correct the error in my profile, and I'm probably going to continue with them, I'll definitely be focusing most of my future money making efforts on writing for Associated Content and Triond.

How to Make Money on Triond

1. You Need Content

This is something the staff of Triond has tries to beat into your head. It doesn't matter what it is just as long as it's not too short; it's probably better if it isn't too long either. One of the best ways to get a large amount of content is to write poetry.

If you know me you know how much I hate writing poetry but I do it. I would rather write short stories and novels but poetry is fast and easy and because I write it I have a lot more content then I did in the first three months.

Warning: These guys are not the best at telling you how much you made on your earnings page so check your content page to find the full amount.

2. Network

The more people you have on your friend's list the better chance you have of making more friends. Fans are great to have because they are people who like your work and read it as soon as it's out. Return the favor, your fan's are on here for the same reasons you are. Pass along their work to your friends and fans and ask them to do the same.

You should also have other sights you can post that you have work on another. Myspace is the best for this because the people on your friends list like you and would be more then willing to check out your work (Facebook's good too but to a lesser extent.)

Warning: Some people are jerks and ignore you but don't hold a grudge. Most of these people won't even read your stuff so don't feel bad if they don't.

3. Be Patient

In the first few months your on Triond don't get discouraged because you haven't gotten paid. As I've said, I've been here four months and I still haven't seen a check but it doesn't matter. Just continue to write and don't worry about much money you make. I know you can make a ton of money through Triond but it takes a long time to build up to that.

I hope that this is helpful to you and wish you the best. Remember we're all in this together. If we help each other we can all make a ton of money sitting on our butts writing.

Triond, Helium and Associated Content: How Do They Compare?

Having written for all three of the above named websites, I can hopefully give some insight to those who are new to the game of writing website content. Perhaps you have already tried one, found it unsatisfactory and moved on to another in the vain search for cash. I have been writing for Helium since January 2008, Associated Content since May 2008 and Triond for only the past few weeks. Here is my view when looking at all three:

Helium

Helium is the place where I have written most of my articles and has given me the greatest financial return. When I first joined Helium, they had just started running a Rewardathon where writers were paid per article based on the number of writing stars they had as a result of the rating system in place. The rating system is by no means perfect but the articles generally find their true place after a while. Combined with the Rewardathon earnings, I was also able to sell a few Marketplace articles and won or placed in the weekly writing contests. Without those means of earning available, I would not have earned much simply relying on page views.

Associated Content

Associated Content provided a little bit more on page view earnings but is not the ideal arrangement if you happen to live outside the USA. As a US resident you can earn up front payments, but if not, you have to rely on page view returns which of course is limited. Having submitted articles for a few months, I have been given some idea of the kind of return that can be expected. I certainly wouldn't give up my day job to pursue this as a means of income.

Triond

I am relatively new to Triond having written around 30 articles in the past two weeks. I can see a steady increase as cents are added daily but will obviously need a few months of activity to make a genuine comparison. The difference between Triond and Helium is that Triond will apparently also include a share of ad revenue, although I understand this is only if the click through results in a sale. My general feeling is that it will take a high volume of articles to see a reasonable financial return but time will tell.

Comparing all three from my own perspective, Helium has definitely proved more rewarding financially because of the other opportunities to earn apart from reliance on page views. My guess would be that Helium, Triond and Associated Content will all pay pretty much the same when it come to page views but then again, I'm sure there rae some writers out there who would beg to differ.

The Eight Steps to Get a Lot of Views on Your Article

I have a secret to get a lot of views on your article. This are legit views and helped me make a lot of money on triond fast. I will give you the steps if you do it right, you should get 20-30 views a minute if you do this right!

Steps

Take the link for your article by copying and pasting it on tinyurl.com.

Change the link for example: from you long article link to something simple like tinyurl.com/usgov even though its not about the government.

By doing this, you can post this link somewhere and someone looking for information on government will click on your link instead!

Now the big part of the secret is going to yahooanswers.com

Go to Government category, and click on posts you think people would view, like "Do you like obama or mccain" for example. Post you link as the answer. Then keep posting your link all over.

After its says you hit your limit for answering questions for the rest of the day, just keep making new accounts and refresh your page views and watch them rise. Try making real names so people can see you are a "true member".

Maybe say something like, "OMG, check this page for some shocking information!"

After a few minutes, I received 500 views on my article! I was truly amazed!

I now found out yahoo answers is a FREE way to advertise. Your account will be banned but just keep making a new one! I told my friends about this and they have all been successful.

$100 a Day as a Triond Writer

Triond is a website that is very easy on the eye and a pleasure to write for. I'm not sure how many users there are in total, but I am pretty certain we have a wide of variety of writing talents as I have found by exploring some the articles on display. I would also venture to say that of all the writers on Triond, there are many who write just for the fun at one end of the scale, and in contrast, others who are deadly serious about making money.

Just testing the water

As a new user here on Triond, I am currently testing the waters to see how it compares to other sites such as Associated Content and Helium. I realize that the only way to truly test the success of this writing opportunity is to write articles and observe their performance over a reasonable period of time. I have written somewhere in the region of twenty articles and will be interested to see how these have performed by the end of the year which is now just over three months away.

Is $100 per day realistic or just a pipe dream?

I chose this figure of $100 at random. It is a nice round number and pretty easy to calculate when you look at it long term. $100 a day translates to $36,500 per annum, a reasonable salary for regular work. Could it be possible to earn this sum solely writing articles on Triond? How many articles would we need to have written before we could ever hope to get near such a return?

Some writers are prolific, but could they possibly write enough to reach such a lofty goal? Perhaps there are some Triond writers who would be happy to settle for $1 a day with a goal of $10 per day further down the line. As I mentioned earlier, it possibly comes down to our reasons for being here in the first place. If we write for the thrill of it, the earning power may not be of any great importance to us. If however we have joined Triond as a writer in order to earn a steady part-time income, how much we can possibly earn will be of real interest.

Yay or nay?

What do you think? Is it possible that we could somehow earn $100 per day? Is it really just a pipe dream? I will be interested to see how my own articles perform between now (September 24) and the end of the year. Perhaps by that time I will have a clearer picture on the merits of Triond. Whatever happens, I like the style of the Triond website and will probably continue to write anyhow!

Write your school/college reports on here

You've always dreaded those 5 page long reports you had to do for your stupid chemistry class, didn't you? It doesn't have to be like that. One way I have figured out how to make a lot of money is to just add your school reports on here. There are numerous benefits to this strategy. One benefit is that you get constant, school-like articles on a regular basis, which you have to do anyway. Another benefit is that you will actually work harder on your school reports. You got nothing to lose anyway, you have to write it anyway, and the worst that is going to happen is that a couple are going to get rejected.

Diversify!

No, I'm not your local stock broker, although I have the same kind of tips. Diversify! The logic behind this is that if you just stay on one subject then you will only get a certain percentage of an audience, which we don't want. We want everyone to read our articles. Let's say one person sees your blog, and really likes it, so they check our your profile and read your other articles. This will probably happen a lot of times if you diversify a lot. Now let's say you only write articles for science topics, because you really like them and you are fairly decent at writing them. Only a small percentage of people are going to read your articles and its most likely going to be one or two guys following what you write, but if you diversify, you can have plenty of people that follow your blogs.

Advertise!

Not much to say on this because this site explains it fairly well. Start spam advertising every site know to man. Sure, most people are just going to ignore it, but there will be some people that really get interested in this and pass it on to there friends or "digg it."

Well thanks to everyone that listened, good luck getting rich.
