Bukisa Vs. Triond

I joined Triond in January 2008, but didn't really get rolling by summer, or even early fall. I joined Bukisa in October 2008, I am writing this in Dec of 2008. I feel I have enough experience on either to give you some facts.

When I joined Bukisa I did not immediately rush out to recruit others to join, in fact it was a full month before I sent out one and only one friend request. That person did not sign up. In recent weeks my Triond Inbox has been flooded with requests from Triond members for me to join them on Bukisa. Most of the people sending the requests are not only new to Bukisa, but new to Triond. As such, they neither have the experience nor knowledge to recommend one compared to the other.

Bukisa pays you per hit on your articles, but you only get paid once per hit from any computer, thus you cannot gain money by repeatedly visiting your own site. Fair enough, I imagine Triond is the same. What is more to note, and the key to all these “Sign up” requests” is the fact that Bukisa pays you when people you sign up, write and start making money. A sort of pyramid scheme, but legal. As such, people are eagerly trying to get as many people to sign up as they can.

In the last week, I too sent out some requests, not random ones, I only sent requests to people who wrote me asking how to make more money, and such. I had 6 people join, only of which 2 have actually written anything.

One of the driving factors causing people to write for Bukisa was the lure of more money. I can attest that on December 1 2008, Bukisa lowered their pay point.

I can also attest that different Triond publishing sites pay different amounts, 1000 hits on “Authspot” is not going to make as much money as 1000 hits on one of their other sites.

If what you write on Triond is not making you rich, the same stuff on a different site, is not going to make you any richer.

Bukisa is for informative, or “how to” articles only. They do not want your poems.

Bukisa does not seem to have the internal networking system, meaning you cannot send messages to each other.

Yes, you can copy your Triond stuff word for word onto Bukisa, but this is not professional, and as I said above unless it is making you a lot of money on Triond, there is no point.

Triond seems to promote our stuff very well. I believe they submit to search engines, I have not seen the same on Bukisa yet.

It is not an “either, or” situation, you can write on both, or even some of the other writting sites.

As with anything, promotion is the KEY to success. If you do not promote your own things how do you expect it to be found? Using social networking sites is the key to any greater success. Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter, etc. Promoting your own stuff, and your own stuff only is NOT an effective way to get fans on any promotion system, you must also support other works as well.

If you are going to sign up in Bukisa, and I am not trying to discourage anyone from doing so, make sure you sign up beneath somebody who will promote you. If a person is doing well here on Triond it is because they have learned the art of good writing and good promotions, and surely will promote your “good” articles. Signing up under a newbie might not mean they will work for you at all.

By having multiple sites, eg Scienceray, Gomestic, etc, Triond is more professional at this time.

Bukisa and Triond are not the only writing sites in the world, there are many others, Hubpages, being one. Using one does not mean you cannot use others. Remember it is extra income, if you think you are going to retire to writing solely by writing on the Internet for one site alone, think again.

I prefer to think of writing mainly as a way to spread information, ideas, and facts. Making a few dollars is great, because it helps pay for my Internet connection, even if it is only Dial up, for now, but spreading knowledge, or sharing pictures, is also a great goal to keep in mind.

How to Get More Views for Articles on Triond

Triond of course is awesome. It is easy. You just post articles, pictures and other things and you earn money for how many people view your post. Here is an awesome tip on how to make money on triond. I got about 400 views in 2 days!

1. Make a yahoo answers account.

2. Copy the url of your triond article.

3. When you answer a question put the url in the answer. If you don't answer the question your answer will be deleted and your account may be deleted. If you don't care about this just put the url. If you don't want your account to be deleted answer the question and put you url. At the end of the day you should see that a lot of people have read your article.

You also can go to tinyurls.com and change your url so it looks like something someone might want to read so then they will click on it and you get more views.

Triond: Online Investment

Triond is an investment. For many users, a long-term investment. Your goal is for your article to gain views over time and will bring in that sum of money which will make you happy. Publish a lot of content, photos, videos, ect. Then you can be busy and do other stuff that needs to be done. Come back in a few weeks and see how you do. You might be shocked or believe you can improve. Then try coming back in a month. Check the stats and improve your writing from there. Add friends and explore triond. Triond will give you secrets on places to put your articles like stumbleupon and digg. Learn from the best users at triond and ask questions. Try and understand how you get your money, through ads on the page. Triond has made me more educated about interesting topics and the internet. You might make pennies a day, but they say pennies add up over time. I currently make 25 cents a day if I publish at least one article or photo that day. Making more articles is like investing in more stocks.

Triond Views: Hope for New Members

The way to get your article thousands of views, is putting a lot of effort into your work. By writing an article that is short and not that informational or interesting, can bring the value of your topic down. As a writer, you may not want to overwrite where an article can get boring. Also, take note of articles you have that do best in the first 24 hours of the day. If my article on a baseball team gets 8 views and my article ways to save energy gets 25, maybe write more about that topic that succeeds. Building a friendship on triond is probably the greatest part. If you read an article that you enjoy, add the author as a friend. By adding friends, they will view your articles.

My number one article http://www.gomestic.com/Personal-Finance/Five-Ways-to-Reduce-the-Amount-of-Electricity-We-Use-in-Our-Home.231201 has 1,700 views in 2 months so far and growing everyday. It expresses the importance of how to save energy and what to use and buy.

What I found out on triond is to keep writing articles and show all the effort I can find from myself inside. More “juicy facts” can be more enjoyable to read. My goal is to have an impact on someone else as they read my article or give chills to my viewer has they see my photos. Think of writing has a long time investment. After months of your content being on the internet, you will get views. Think about years from now. Your articles will be seen for years to come. Have hope!

The Best Place to Write is a Quiet Place

I have had some messages about where I write my articles and well here it is.

I like to write in a quiet place because it is calm and there are no distractions. This helps you when you are writing because your mind is easily distracted and if there is nothing to hear I find that it is easier to focus on your work. Since I like to write in the garden I will usually take my laptop out there and just write my articles.

I also find that it is quite peaceful and I will often have other ideas while I am out there. This gets annoying sometimes though. I have so much stuff to write about but not enough time to write it all.

It also has things that are unique to it. Take the picture above for example. I noticed it when I was writing this article and then everything just seemed so simple to me, the birds flying around and the sound of water going the waterfall in the pool. This is why I write outside.

I like a bit of privacy as well so I made a make shift fence at the end closest to the road. It is so easy to make your writing place unique all I did for mine was find a bit of spare lattice and rope and the I just tied it to two trees so it wouldn't fall over.

Here are some easy tips to find and make your writing place special.

Make sure it is a peaceful place

Make it differ by adding in our own stuff

Enclose it on all open sides

If it is in a room hang some inspirational pictures in it

If it is outside place objects that will not wear away within the area

Sit there and let your ideas flow

Growing Your Triond Community Grows Your Earnings

One of the most important aspects of Triond aside from writing quality content is to build a community. You ask why this is important? Well anytime someone adds me as a friend I add them as well. Each time that person publishes something new I visit it and read it! I have noticed others do the same to the point where no matter what I publish I get 10-15 views just from my Triond friends!

Now you are thinking, how do I get Triond friends and a lot of them? I did not know how important it was until after I had published a large amount of articles. In retrospect I would have spent my first week or so on Triond with only 5 or so articles! I would have spent my time getting to know other users and reading popular content for ideas on which were the best to write and which attracted the most friends! While doing this I would have made friends with any author I noticed doing well or even just trying hard! I would comment on their posts and end them a message to get to know them! This will ensure you both enjoy reading the work of the other and you will help each other achieve success by building views and comments on each others work! Imagine if in one week you made 100 solid friends on Triond, if you publish an article you will be guaranteed 100 views! I personally think that is worth it! You can also go to your "fans" page and view all your fans, send them each a message and become their friend as well! This will make everyone happy as they now get to talk to you and you will read each others work! As you get more friends you will notice it gets easier and easier to make more and more friends on Triond! I have not encountered a mean person on Triond yet. Well aside from C. Jordan! (just joking your awesome!) So don't be afraid to make friends!

I would like to end this post with my personal assurance that if you help others they will help you! Build a base of friends and support each other in your efforts! Comment on the work of others! Don't be afraid to "like" someone else's article because it will make more competition! Write as best you can and you will have success! That is a promise! I will also ask you to personally add me as your friend and I will add you as well and I will help you in any way I can! Let's get your friends list growing!

Seven Steps to Optimize Triond Earnings

I have tried quite a few things on Triond to get the most views to my articles. I want people to read my work and appreciate it! I have over time developed a winning strategy for writing good quality articles and getting people to read them. However the only problem is that good quality isn't what Triond users look for!

The first thing you need to do on Triond is form a goal! My goal was 100$ a day, which I realize may take years if ever. When you realize your goal is insanely large then you simply set short term goals. My current goal is 1$ a day by the end of this week! I am nearing that goal already! Eventually I will achieve 100$ a day with a lot of hard work and thought, which leads us to another topic.

Consistency and hard work are important to creating the amount of content you need to earn a good amount monthly from Triond! I try to write 5 or 6 articles daily. After 3 months I will have 500 articles or more which will generate a modest residual income! The amount of income you earn on Triond is almost solely based on how many articles you write! Unless you write to a niche that is popular and no one else writes! (good luck)

Quality work is also a serious thing. If I am going to do some reading and I find that one author has 300 articles so I decide to start reading and the first 3 are complete dribble I am going to forever ignore that author as their sole aim is income! I chose Triond as a little something on the side because I actually get really excited about writing for other people and don't want to do it full time or in large books etc. If your goal is solely money, the door is in the top right, there is a big red X go click it!

Optimization is an important part of Triond. I would like to think my content in the beginning was quality and I know some of it was but most people are attracted to lists. Therefore if you ant maximized views of your work, mind you he work must be good for this to serve a purpose otherwise you prove to be a nuisance, the best thing you can do is make a list and include the number in the title. This discourages me as I love to write stories and explanations and talk about society but the viewers just don't go for those sorts of things!

Community, if you want to be well known in Triond so people visit your new articles then you must participate in the community aspect! I try to respond to most comments people make or act on them depending on what it is about! The more friends you have the more will respect you and read your material!

Friends and family are also in integral part of Triond if you have 10 people reading all your new articles you are guaranteed to make a few cents when you take the time to write something that is worth reading!

Friendly! Write good stuff view other peoples articles, try to have excitement in your work and set goals! Best of luck to you and feel free to add me as a friend:)

Best Ways to Make Money on Triond!

Write your school/college reports on here

You've always dreaded those 5 page long reports you had to do for your stupid chemistry class, didn't you? It doesn't have to be like that. One way I have figured out how to make a lot of money is to just add your school reports on here. There are numerous benefits to this strategy. One benefit is that you get constant, school-like articles on a regular basis, which you have to do anyway. Another benefit is that you will actually work harder on your school reports. You got nothing to lose anyway, you have to write it anyway, and the worst that is going to happen is that a couple are going to get rejected.

Diversify!

No, I'm not your local stock broker, although I have the same kind of tips. Diversify! The logic behind this is that if you just stay on one subject then you will only get a certain percentage of an audience, which we don't want. We want everyone to read our articles. Let's say one person sees your blog, and really likes it, so they check our your profile and read your other articles. This will probably happen a lot of times if you diversify a lot. Now let's say you only write articles for science topics, because you really like them and you are fairly decent at writing them. Only a small percentage of people are going to read your articles and its most likely going to be one or two guys following what you write, but if you diversify, you can have plenty of people that follow your blogs.

Advertise!

Not much to say on this because this site explains it fairly well. Start spam advertising every site know to man. Sure, most people are just going to ignore it, but there will be some people that really get interested in this and pass it on to there friends or "digg it."

Well thanks to everyone that listened, good luck getting rich.

Why I Wanna Surpass Nelson Doyle

Before I go on writing this article (and before you readers from Triond hate on me), I just want to emphasize that there is only one Nelson Doyle, and that this article is not an effort to discredit any writer from Triond, and to foster any sort of friction between writers. I merely entitled this post this way for the purpose of illustrating a very valuable point - an idea and mindset that will help all Triond writers achieve their financial goals and dreams through content publishing.

That being said, let me begin.

Since I was a kid, I often sized up and "judged" certain industries and fields of interest by the nature of its key figure and dominant personality. Let me explain. When I began to appreciate the game of basketball way back in the 90's, I often looked at the game's key personality figure - Michael Jordan. On the basis of how Jordan performs and leads his team, I came to understand just what basketball is like and what an ideal basketball player should be. The same with golf, everything seems to rotate on a single iron rod - and that is Tiger Woods. The same with billiards - Efren Reyes (who happened to come from the same country I came from) became the object of my admiration for the game of billiards. Everything that the dominant key person says or does immediately becomes of utmost importance because, to the likeminded people around him (or her), he is an inspiration, a piece of the rock, an epitome, a representative for the whole.

Then during the first quarter of the year 2008, I came across the Triond website and became excited with the possibility of sharing content and earning from it at the same time. I realized that, just like other careers and sciences, content publishing demands hard work, discipline and perseverance. Just as I have usually done, I looked for several key personality figures in Triond that might be a source of inspiration to me. There are so many talented writers and content producers, and Nelson Doyle is definitely one of them. So I read his articles, see what I could learn...and seeing of how succesful he is at content publishing, my faith and my belief in what I'm doing increased. The thought of seeing people out there who have already "been there, done that" is enough inspiration to us that Triond is a viable income source and it can be done!

So what does this tell us? Well, here's what I'm telling you in a nutshell: "It's better to shoot for the moon and hit only the top of the Empire State building". The key figure or dominant personality in your chosen field of interest should be an inspiration to you. It is not a bad goal to become like him or her, and even surpass his or her success. You may not reach that goal, but by aiming high, you set higher standards for yourself. In the process of achieving your dreams and looking up to the key personality figure as an insipiration, it is also important for you not to lose your own identity. Don't just imitate others, but instead become YOU. I am not Nelson Doyle and the other top Triond writers, but I can be Verniel Cutar. I can be me. I can reach my Triond goals. Other people are already experiencing great results and are making history in the industry of content publishing. I wanna become one of them and to surpass them if possible. I wanna be the best that I could be....That should be every Triond writer's attitude! Tell yourself that you can reach your goals. You can make it big. Keep on writing articles. Keep on sharing useful content. Keep on entertaining people and giving them what they want...and be the best Triond writer you can possibly become.

And to all the top Triond writers, thanks for being an inspiration to us all. Keep on doing what you do, and may you have more success in content publishing.
