Just a Simple Tip to Make Sure Your Comment is Posted

I had this exasperating encounter with my articles and also trying to post my comments to other writers' articles. I tried to painstakingly type even for as many as twenty, even forty or more tries just to make my comments on an interesting article I found. But to no avail. I feel frustrated at times and would just logout.

I contacted Kim at Triond about this but somehow the solution is elusive as the problem persisted. I also learned that some of colleagues at Triond had the difficulty. Nelson Doyle suggested to write comments first on a notepad to avoid losing it once the attempt to post is unsuccessful. I did but it's quite time consuming having to paste then see if the comment goes.

Probably, it's a month when out of exasperation probably and resolved to do something about the problem at my end, I utilized an old tip regarding problem solving. Go back to the basics. Simpler things accomplish things better. If you want to kill a cat, then just whoop it, instead of trying to figure out complicated approaches like caging it and injecting it with some sedative, then a nerve relaxant, and so on, just like what is being done in a highly modern implementation of a death sentence.

I experimented using the different browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera. These fast and well-advanced browsers did not work as expected. Then I remembered having downloaded a simple browser, without much of the frills. This is the OffByOne browser, which is described in its site as may be the world's smallest and fastest web browser with full HTML 3.2 support. It is a completely self-contained, stand-alone 1.2 MB application with no dependencies on any other browser or browser component. It works for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

I used it and right there and then my ever-difficult to post comment was posted. I hope this ends somehow many writer's difficulty in responding to comments on their articles or photos.

So I deduced the problem in posting comments has something to do with the browser programming. So the simpler a browser is, the better. Meanwhile, if your much better looking browser does not work in Triond, try the OffByOne and save time.

I hope it works for you.
