How to Write Publish and Promote Your Own E-book

Your eBook need not be long. In fact eBooks are easier to handle if they are not too large. Buyers will be downloading your eBook and not all computers have the capability to download large files with ease. Rule of thumb for eBook size is often between 10 and 50 pages although you have the last say about the size of your own book. The smallest eBook I have seen for sale was 5 pages and the largest was over 700 pages.

The first thing you should decide is whether or not you are going to write, publish, and promote your eBook on your own or use an online company.

Writing an eBook for Self Promotion

Writing your eBook for self promotion can be done on your own computer using Microsoft word or another similar program. Once your eBook is written, you will need to convert it into a downloadable format for publication. PDF or Portable Document Format is the most widely used format for eBook publishing because

It is fast and easy to use.

It is secure which makes it almost impossible to transmit a virus.

Your book page only needs to be set up once and following pages will automatically be set as you work.

Pages are automatically numbered for you.

Pages can easily be edited right from your document.

You can convert your eBook to PDF free of charge here

Copyright

Even before your eBook is finished, it is your copyright and you own all rights. Every written word belongs to you. For this reason it is important to add a copyright symbol to your book. This can be done by using the number pad on your keyboard. Choose where you want to add your © then with numlock on, hold down the Alt key and type 0169. You can also insert the copyright symbol from the symbol menu in your word processor. Then to make your eBook really your own, you may want to register for an official copyright. You can do that here.

Once your book is finished it's time to promote it. If you choose to promote your eBook on your own you will need a strategy.

Promotion

One way to promote your eBook is through eBook directories. The advantage of using eBook directories is your book will be seen by people who are interested in buying eBooks only. Some eBook directories will let you add your book for free but depending on your goal you may wish to use a paid site. A good free eBook directory is EBook Palace where visitors can add their eBook directly to the directory. EBook Palace accepts a wide range of format such as PDF, .exe, html, palm, and more.

Payment

If you don't have an account with PayPal you will have to register. Once you sign up, you can buy a PayPal button. Simply copy and paste the HTML code for your button onto the pages where you will be advertising your eBook.

Once you have a PayPal button you can:

Add your eBook to your blog.

Exchange eBook advertising with other bloggers to get more exposure but keep in mind that whatever your eBook subject is, you will do better advertising on a blog related to your book material.

Advertise from your own website. If you don't have a website you might consider building one. There are many free websites such as Bravenet,
SynthaSite or Wetpaint.

If you have your own website or blog, consider a banner exchange with other webmasters and bloggers.

Add your eBook button to forums and groups you belong to.

Ask webmasters with website material similar to your eBook theme to donate space for your ad. Some may want payment for the service but you will find many owners who are looking for content and will be happy to display your eBook ad for free.

If you are promoting using a website you can submit your site to search engines like the ones below.

http://www.google.com/addurl/

http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html

http://re.search.wikia.com/

You can also use free link submissions sites.

Publishing Your eBook using an Online Publisher

If you would rather work with an online publisher Lulu Publishing is the easiest program to use and it is totally free for eBook publication. You will use Lulus software at no charge and be taken step by step through the writing procedure from start to finish AND you will be given a free storefront to display and sell your eBooks. You can set your own book price and for each eBook you sell, Lulu will charge a commission of 25 percent per book sold.

Lulu will do their best to promote your eBook but to attract as many prospective buyers as possible you will probably want to advertise on your own as well.

The only drawback to publishing with an online company is that you receive your payments on their time. In Lulu's case you are paid once every three months.

My Best Triond Article Has Received Over 61,000 Views and Counting

I think it's safe to guess that if you have published more than a handful of articles on Triond or other sites, you have probably noticed a great variance of views that each article experiences. I'm still trying to uncover why there is such a great difference between the popularity of my work and how to continue to produce work that is highly viewed and enjoyed.

So, what I've decided to do is analyze why I think my best article continues to grow in popularity, steadily and rewardingly every single day.

Okay, so here goes:

My #1 ranked most popular article is:

B12 Shots: The Newest Energy Booster

For awhile this article consistently received about 100 views a day. Then it changed to 200 views per day. Now, that number is steadily increasing. In fact, if you Google B12 Shots, I was blown away to find that it appears as the #1 search result.

Amazing; I tell this story for a few reasons. First of all, for people who think that their work is just falling into the internet universe only to be viewed a few times, you never know when you'll write something that will become a huge success. Keep working, keep believing. When I first started with Triond, my views were small and I wondered what I was doing wrong, but I stuck with the love and passion of writing in my heart and it continues to reward my efforts.

Why do I think this article has done so well and continues to do well? Many reasons; the topic is hot. One of the biggest universal complaints I notice from people is that they feel tired or lethargic at one point of time during the day. Secondly, the subject matter is health and finding a way to improve yours. Overall, the articles I publish that center around health are always the most consistently and highest viewed articles.

In addition, I believe the continued growing popularity has to do with the fact that it is an article that people want to leave comments on. I have many articles that people continue to view, but do not continue to leave consistent comments.

Why? I believe people leave comments on this particular reason for a few reasons. They have knowledge about the subject and can add their knowledge, thus, helping others, something that doubly makes them feel good and they can also seek help or advice from others.

And then I began to realize that my article became bigger than me; it took on a "life" of its own. It literally became a forum for people who are really concerned about the best way to improve their health. Just by sharing my simple story, it opened the door for others to do so; and in doing so, they are helping millions of others who want to find the best solution for their problems. Some readers may never end up taking a B12 shot, but upon reading the comments left from people who have greater knowledge about the subject than me, others will be enabled to make informed and wiser decisions about their health. It can't get any better than that.

I also feel that because I do take the time to answer all the comments on this article, more readers feel that what they have to say is important to the writer and they are more inclined to leave comments. I truly do care and I do my best to research questions asked, many on subjects I know very little about, but I do it as a thank you for the comment and because I just want the very best for everyone in this world. For some of my other articles, I must admit that it's been tougher to respond to all the comments. The reasons vary, but in the end, I believe it's important to focus your attention on what's most valued and successful in your life. When you do this, the rewards double, triple, and never stop growing.

And, lastly, I think its popularity has to do with the fact that I continue to think about it and link it to as many other articles as possible. In fact, one of my goals is to make sure that all my articles have links to other relevant articles I have written. From research, I learned that linking is one way that search engines somehow figure out what articles should be placed higher up in search results. The more links, the more popular an article appears. Whether this is true or not, it makes perfect sense.

Now when you decide to place links of your articles in various places, this must be done thoughtfully. You must realize that "spamming" on any level will not bring you what you want, and that is prosperity and bringing good feelings to those who read your work. All it does is make the majority of people feel as though you don't care about their work, time, etc. And, for those who try to be as nice as possible, well you might enjoy a few views, but in the end, you will deter a loyal audience more so than anything else.

When I started out, I had to learn the hard way, but luckily, I learn quickly! I left a few links myself when I commented thinking that because the subject matter was similar the author would appreciate it. Not so. And, though my intentions were good, I soon realized that by doing so it was like I was saying to a person who was not even my friend, "Okay because I cooked you dinner now you have to cook me dinner."

We all know that when you do something, people never want to feel obligated to have to do something back. Your friends simply do nice things for you because they want to of their own volition. So when you start linking your articles be sure to leave them on your articles, websites, blogs, etc. If you enjoy writing articles about health link your health related articles throughout your work, down below, or wherever you think they will be viewed the most. This is truly a smart way to increase your article views because if readers already love your writing style and subject matter and want more, they can quickly find more of your work.

While readers can also simply click your name to find a list of your work, the manner in which Triond articles are catalogued is by date and not subject making specific searches a time consuming experience for your audience; one that most would opt to avoid. And those rare exceptionally interested readers spend extra time shifting through page after page of your work instead of being able to use that time to read your work. Eliminate this obstacle. Make it easier for readers to view your work!

These are some thoughts regarding my article's success. I'm still pondering this subject.

Fan-Fiction: A Haven for the Obsessed

Most people stare at me when I say I write fan-fiction. They get the fiction part but they are confused as to what it means when preceded by the term 'fan'. Their ignorance is not unfounded when we consider the proportion of writers who dabble in this genre. My introduction into fan-fiction was when, for the first time in many years, I was dissatisfied with what was being delivered to me in the pages of Harry Potter. Until then the thought of digressing from canon - (the printed words in the original work) was disturbing to an obsessive fan like me. While I was vacillating between my thoughts of whether to give it a try, we were given a wonderful cliff hanger in the form of the sixth Harry Potter book, and which were to be the only words out of Miss Rowling's pen for two whole years. Surely that was enough to drive any hardcore acolyte into submission.

So I went in and gave it a shot. And I haven't left ever since. Now would be the appropriate time to explain what the world of fan-fiction encompasses. Fan-fiction is, as the word suggests, fiction; except that the author bases his stories on a world created by someone else. The characters, the relationships, even the plot could already have been established in the media - be it books, TV or movies. Not satisfied with how Xena ended? Did you feel Buffy should have ended with Spike and Angel making sweet love. Disagree? You think it should have been mean, rough sex? Run along to sites like Fanfiction.net and you could select from an assortment of stories catering to your specific needs.

Readers and writers

I have experienced the world of fan-fiction both as a reader and a writer. As a reader, there was awe and amazement at the wide pool of talented writers out there. The weekly adrenaline rush when a chapter of my favorite fan-fic was up was enticing, considering how JK Rowling only permitted us that divine feeling once every two years. But my transition into a writer was more gradual. My first fan-fiction was a result of a struggle within myself to contain the dozen speculations regarding some of my favorite characters. Fan-fiction has thus been an influential tool in inspiring young minds to take up the pen. Surveys conducted on various sites show a high percentage of teenage writers indulging in fan-fiction writing. Although 80% of these writers are women, any concentrated effort to inspire a 14 year old, be it a boy or a girl, to pick up a pen instead of wasting away in front of Lindsay Lohan videos desires appreciation.

Controversies

Fan-fiction has also had its share of controversies. There are people who would enjoy reading and writing erotic versions of their favorite stories. However, some people get carried away and under the aegis of some of the more liberal sites, have posted materials deemed morally offensive and inappropriate for young readers - underage sex, unrated material and incest being some of the primary concerns. But in recent years, sites have been increasingly cracking down on such material and enforcing stricter regulations on such content. Nowadays most fan-fiction sites have effective moderating teams who reject stories that haven't been properly rated.

However, if you have high expectations and are looking for the near-original-quality material, you might be disappointed. The fan-fiction world is more like a community that has authors evolving their styles and improving their writing with each work that they put out. I have personally found a mountain of difference between my first work and the stories that I post now. Also the fan-fiction community is tight knit and criticism is often delivered as friendly advices, thus removing any fears of embarrassment, from the minds of the more diffident writers.

Ownership

What about its creators? Wouldn't you get pissed if your anti hero, the scruffy, hostile curmudgeon was rewritten as a fluffy, effulgent softie who sings 80's pop music while cooking muffins. No I didn’t make that up. The world of fan-fiction is so vast and diverse that it wouldn't be surprising to find some of the most ridiculously outlandish plots. So do the writers mind that their fans are shamelessly twisting the plots that they nurtured so preciously? Most don't, however some do. One of them is author Anne Rice who apparently doesn't take too well with any sort of hanky-panky with her characters.

While authors like Anne Rice are incorrigibly opposed to the world of fan-fiction, some others are amazed by the imagination of its writers. JK Rowling has in the past admitted to being "flattered" by people who feel inspired to base their works on her characters. Most people, myself included, feel grateful to her, as it was the relative glibness of her writing style that inspired many of us to try writing something on our own. The pleasure and fun of ending your favorite story the way you want to can be quite satisfying indeed.

But what is the ultimate motivation for a work of fan-fiction? Is it an outcome of the build up of insurmountable displeasure with the original work or simply an over infatuation with it, thereby providing a fan a conduit as a means of staying connected with it. As a writer and reader I have seen people belonging to both categories. In such a context one can understand why Anne Rice is visibly upset about the whole issue. However, authors need to understand that people spending a significant amount of their time trying to create stories, characters, names and plot points based on their world, could only be a result of a vested interest and wholesome dedication to that same world.

Triond: A Few Pennies and Counting

I've been doing some research on how to become successful on Triond. By successful, I mean both in gaining readership as well as making money. As you can tell by the title, I've only made a few pennies so far. I'm not complaining; I submitted my first post only a few days ago and I've already earned some cash. It's not making me rich, but I'll take it.

As I read through articles, I noticed that most were from people who already had great success writing on Triond. I wanted to read about someone like me, a struggling writer that was trying to figure it out. Since I couldn't find an artilcle like this, I decided to create my own. This is post #1, an introduction to the struggle, if you will. Below are my first attempts to boost readership:

Research

I found some good tips and I've been trying to use them. My first step was to register on Digg. It didn't do much for my posts initially but the more friends I gather and the more time I spend digging, the more hits I get on my articles. I'm going to invest some more time on Digg and see if I can't get an article to be popular.

A few days later I tried Reddit and then I Google book-marked all my articles. It's only been a few hours since I first tried these, so nothing much to report at the moment either way.

Adding Friends on Triond

I added over 50 friends on Triond in my first week. I added some of the "Hot Users" first so I could become familiar with the writers that got the most clicks. Then I read a bunch of articles from lesser known Triond writers. If I liked the posts, I added the writers as friends. Then I added about 20 or so people whose work I hadn't read. This allowed for a steady stream of posts and articles to be loaded directly onto my Community Page. Easy access to articles means less time searching and more time reading and learning what does and doesn't work for Triond.

Trying New Content

In order to see what is popular, and also in hopes of keeping things fresh, I've been writing about various subjects. So far, I've written about my day job, weight loss, a friend's scary run-in with mono and a list of tips to get through a bad day. The weight loss, bad day, and day job have had decent success. Mono has tanked horribly. Who doesn't want to read about Mono? Apparently everyone on Triond.

Future Plans

First: I'm going to post this and hope to get some feedback in the comments section. Feel free to leave tips, comments, or even to tell me I'm wasting my time. My feelings are pretty hard to hurt.

Second: I'm going to write a good bit more content. Every article about writing for Triond emphasizes creating a large quantity of quality content. Thankfully, writing articles is a nice way to break up my work day. It's also a welcome break from my other writing; I'm attempting to write screenplays, plays, and novels as well.

Third: Once I get a good body of work, I'll email friends and family and ask them to take a look. A bit out of order you may think? Most people send out those links with their first submissions. Everyone's lives are so busy these days, I'd rather send them a bundle of things to check out at their leisure. The alternative is to send them a link to one and either do follow up emails or hope they want to check back frequently. This way, at least, they know I've been working hard.

Fourth: I'll keep you posted.

Poetry Scams and the Birth of Wergle Flomp

One author decided to test the waters of a questionable poetry contest. He suspected that most everything that was sent in was accepted for publication. And why not? The vanity outfit had a perfect, profitable cash cow selling books containing the hopes and dreams of would-be poets.

David Taub submitted a nonsense bit of fluff that no sane editorial panel would have accepted. In fact, he tried his damndest to get rejected. Instead his poem, Flubblebop:

flobble bobble blop
yim yam widdley woooo
oshtenpopple gurby
yip yip yip
nish-nash nockle nockle . . .

and signed “Wergle Flomp” touched a seeming chord with the editorial panel. “Wergle” (David) was informed that his poem, after careful review, had made it to semi-finalist status. What followed was the sales pitch, the usual drivel touting a “highly acclaimed” anthology where the work would appear-all available at David's expense.

Helium, Triond, and Associated Content: Which One?

Helium

Earning Potential

In terms of revenue generated per article, Helium pays the lowest among the three sites. It does however have a Marketplace and Contests, which help to supplement a writers income.

Publishing Process

Helium is the fastest among the three sites when it comes to publishing. There is no waiting time between submission and publishing. Zilch. Helium depends on a peer-rating system that asks writers to rate their fellow writers, which eliminates the need for Helium staff to review the articles. Unlike the other sites where you have to click and choose several options, Helium's publishing interface only requires you to click that "Submit" button.

Topic Restriction

Helium restricts topic titles to the ones already on Helium. You may request for a new topic title, though it'll take some time before it gets approved/rejected.

Rights to your Article

Helium claims non-exclusive rights, which means you can still publish them elsewhere.

Payment

Helium offers only one mode of payment, through Paypal. The payout mark is set at $25 and payout is on the 10th day of each month. At the time of writing, Helium is currently looking at the possibility of a check payout option. The option is still unavailable.

Triond

Earning Potential

Triond pays the highest in terms of revenue generated per article.

Publishing Process

Triond usually takes less than a day.

Topic Restriction

To quote their guidelines: "Your content must not contain any derogatory, offensive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, vulgar, profane, abusive, harassing, obscene, pornographic, defamatory or tortuous material."

Rights to your Article

Triond claims first rights on your article, meaning they have to be the first to publish it. However, you retain the rights to republish the article elsewhere after it is first published on a Triond network site.

Payment

Triond offers payment through either Paypal, Western Union or check. The payout mark is $0.50 for Paypal, and $50 for Western Union and by check. Payment is made on the 15th of each month.

Associated Content

Earning Potential

Associated Content pays better than Helium but not as good as Triond for revenue generated per article. Associated Content does have an upfront payment option which allows writers to ask for payment upfront. This is however restricted to certain topics and residents of the United States. There are also contests on Associated Content

Publishing Process

Associated Content tends to be the slowest if you are asking for upfront payment. You'll also have to wait to get reviewed even if you're not asking for upfront payment if you have not published at least three times there before.

Topic Restriction

None

Rights to Your Article

You choose. Options given are Exclusive, Non-exclusive, Display only. Exclusive means you give Associated Content full rights to your article. Non-exclusive means you still retain the rights to republish them. Display only means you reserve the rights to take them down when you like.

Payment

Associated Content offers payment through Paypal. Payout mark is set at $1.50 and payout is at the end of every month.

As you can see, the three sites Helium, Triond, Associated Content all have their strengths. Helium has a fast,easy-to-use publishing system set in place, Triond has the highest revenue generated per article, and Associated Content offers to pay you upfront. Try them all and see which one you like.

Five Reasons Why You Shouldn't Write for Triond

Hold on just one second Triond members, before you rip me to shreds, please read on…

You would rather share your valuable information and experience with the world without proper recognition. Triond provides excellent author recognition for your work, along with an “about me” page, picture, and all of your work gathered in one place.

You would rather share your valuable opinions and information with the world for free. If you would rather post your work without any payment for it, Triond is not for you.

You would rather write about a specific topic that 30 other writers have already covered, in detail. If you want to be limited on the topics or creativity of your work, the Triond is definitely not for you. At Triond, you can pretty much write about whatever you would like, within their relaxed guidelines. Usually the most unique, extraordinary, interesting, or strange articles seem to do the best.

You are a loner and do not want other writer's comments, suggestions, and support. At Triond, other writers reach out to the new writers and help them understand and utilize Triond. If you don't like meeting new people and making new friends who are interested in writing or photography as well, please stay clear of Triond.

You don't want lots of people viewing your work. If you are a shy writer or photographer and would rather keep your work to yourself, please don't sign up with Triond. Your work could potentially reach thousands of people, and we don't want you to have an anxiety attack!

Hopefully, after reading this list, you have had a chuckle or two and decided to sign up with Triond. If you are already a member, keep up the great work!

Hot Topics to Write for Triond

Songs and Music

Music is a universal language. Everyone loves to listen to songs and music at any time - both at work and at play. Thus, topics about songs and music will capture a large interested audience. However, try to write something which is rather general as not everyone will like your taste of songs and music. Nelson Doyle, one of the most popular Triond writers, has written several articles in this area. One of them has topped the chart for an extensive period of time. It is called Music Rules 2: Top 45 Music Websites That Deliver the Greatest Free Music.

Strange, Bizarre, and Unusual Stuff

People are curious about things in general. Things that are different from their normal state of being are very fascinating. One example is an article entitled 20 Most Bizarre Congenital Defects/Abnormalities by Nobert Soloria Bermosa.

Fun Stuff

The dread of work has pushed many people to look for something fun to do when there are not working, worse still when they are working! The internet has opened a whole new definition of fun. It used to be that you have to be at a certain place to have fun such as the movies or the beach or the bowling alley. But now, you can even have fun when you are at home or at work, as long as you are connected to the internet. R J Evans wrote about 10 Awesome Interactive Websites and 10 Wonderful Websites with Which to Waste Time at Work. Both are in the top 10 positions in the Hot Content area.

Free Stuff

The marketing and PR professionals would never underestimate the power of the word "FREE"! With the high cost of living, people are always looking at how they can save money doing things they like. People used to believe that the higher the price, the better the quality. But not anymore. Free stuff can be as good or even better than paid products or services. Thus, why pay when you can get them for FREE! GeekReviews wrote Stop: Don't Pay Another Dollar for Your Anti Virus When You Have So Many Other Great Free Options.

Nature

There are many things in nature that we still do not understand. I believe that cures for so-called "incurable diseases" are probably lurking around the corner of your own garden or backyard. Furthermore, many people feel a sense of peace when they are in nature. So, if you can write about the wonders of nature, you may have that winning article. Nobert Soloria Bermosa wrote about Spectacular Trees From Around the World and managed to top the charts. Writing about the destructive forces of nature may also get you in the Hot Content area like this article 10 Most Destructive Tornadoes From Around the World by Nelson Doyle.

The next time you think of articles to write about, bear in mind these topics. You may end up writing one of the most popular articles in Triond. Happy writing!

How to Make $250.00 Per Month Writing for Triond

Many serious writers don't believe you can make real income writing online. Although I have yet to make a fortune sharing my thoughts online, I've certainly made a substantial part time income. Triond is one of several sites where I submit content to get paid for page views and I've enjoyed a nice return on my time. At the current time I'm averaging around $250.00 per month in profits for page views and plan on tripling that amount over time. This return is only for Triond and I write for several other sites that also pays for page views.

I was not always so convinced that Triond would be a success. When I first joined Triond in March of 2007, I eagerly submitted a few articles with starry-eyed visions of large page view payments deposited in my Paypal account. After the first month at Triond, my bubble was burst when I received a grand total of $0.75 in page view bonuses. After that letdown, I chose to take a break from writing for Triond and concentrate on other online writing opportunities.

After ignoring Triond for several months, I continued to get deposits into my Paypal account each month for the articles I had previously published. Although they were hardly substantial, they appeared to be rising on a monthly basis. Such is the power of page views. Once you've submitted content, it can continue to be read for many months to come. Inspired by these observations, I started to tentatively contribute a few new articles. Thing were starting to slowly heat up. My big break came when I wrote this article . Much to my surprise it made the front page of Digg which resulted in a massive number of page views and over $50.00 in page view bonuses. That definitely caught my attention. From that point on, I started to contribute a few articles each day to Triond and have watched my page view bonuses gradually rise. My biggest article earned over $100.00 in page views after a large blog picked it up.

Why am I telling you this? Persistence and consistency pays off. When you contribute content regularly, you gradually build up a repository that will keep earning for you. Don't give up after the first month. Set short-term and long-term goals for yourself and keep writing and learning. Over the next few months I will be regularly contributing articles giving you ideas on how to increase your income writing on Triond. Stay tuned and hang in there!

10+ Sites Worth Trying to Make Money Online

Money has become an important method for people to exchange either tangible or intangible things with metal-made or paper-made materials which are recognized as "Money" in the modern life. Without money, it will be hard for people to fulfil needs other than their basic needs. Under the pressure of high cost living, petrol rise, bigger family expenditure, and increasing needs, money is always found to be inadequate to fulfil the full needs of humans. Therefore, people have attempted to look for other ways which might increase their money either through writing articles, sharing photos, videos and pictures, blogging, selling products at eBay or auction to generate some revenue which might have assisted them to cover electrical, water, petrol or gas bills.

All listed sites here are legal companies that will pay you for your hard work. The sites are carefully reviewed to ensure its reliability and reputation and thus these sites are free of scam.

Triond

Triond is a great writing site as they let you publish any kinds of contents you wish to write for. Here, you can submit written text, picture, podcast and video as well. It is relatively simple to submit your writing content here, you just type in the word processing program and save it before uploading to this site. Then, it will go to the review of the editors. Once it is accepted, it will be published on one of its partner sites.

Here, you earn 50% and Triond earns 50% of the revenue generated from your article. The revenue you get will base upon how many page views, quality, nature of the article and the number of contents you wrote as well. Generally, the more contents you wrote the more shares of revenue that your articles can bring in with you. This is the best sites that I highly recommend to the international users. Besides English, they also publish articles written from Abkhazian to Zulu, which can be a great help for international writers who have not much knowledge of English.

eHow

This is another writing site that pay you for writing How To article. It is nice being published right away here without waiting longer. It is relatively simple to publish your article here. You go to Publish an Article section and later you just fill up their required fields to get the job done before hitting the publish button. By doing this, your article will go directly into their web. The article is more in a framework of steps, and no conclusion is needed. You also have an option to attach video and picture along with your article. They will pay you base on the popularity of the article. This site only pays Americans. International writers may submit their articles here for sharing with others as they will not be getting paid.

JustAnswer

This is a site where you answer questions by your customers to eligible for payment. It is always wise to provide your qualification as a degree, master or doctorate holder, or professional licenses even though you are not required to do so. As an expert, you have to answer questions via posting message or a chat room. If your answer is accepted, you will share the revenue with Just Answer. The more questions you response, the more chances for you to earn a large share of revenue.

Istockphoto

This is another micro-stock photography site which you will get from a 50% to 80% commission for photos you sell on this site. The more photos you sell the more commissions you will get. This site provide “Keymaster” program that will get you some money, too. The keywords you provide for each photo that will be used while customers searching for photos will get you paid for as low as $0.20 each.

Daytipper

Here, you can submit any kinds of practical information about tips, tricks, techniques or hints on doing something that will be helpful for the readers. The length of the tip is generally around one paragraph with a limit to 500 characters. Once you submit your work on a tip, it will go to the editor to review. For each single tip you created which is published on this site, you will get $1.00.

HubPages

This is one of the writing sites that enable you to build a page using blocks called modules and you can add in information, links, and pictures into your own article for your formatting choices before publishing the page and it will go into the web directly.
You earn 60% of the Google Adsense impressions each time someone clicks on the ads that attached to your article. Besides that, you can choose to add e-Bay or Amazon products to earn more money from this program. Like other writing sites, the more you write, the more you will gain revenue generated.

HowToDoThings.com

HowToDoThings.com is another writing site that will pay for your articles. Prior to this, you have to apply to write in a particular field. For example, you want to write about archaeology, and thus you are required to have studied in this field. That means the editors are seeking for an expert in particular field to apply and they expect you to have some qualifications in your specific category. Like HubPages, your revenue is generated via Google Adsense which will earn you 50% of the Google Adsense page impressions. Basically, you have to write How To articles that will encourage people to click on the Google Ads. That means the high click from other parties will get you some handsome money.

Rankrz

Here, you make lists of ranked items. For example, you rate "The Best Digital Camera", "The Best Household Product" and etc. to enable you to make money with Google Adsense and Amazon.

American Consumer Opinion

Each month, this site will send you several screeners which might be a few short questions to answer and you will not be paid for answering these questions. Nevertheless, you are advised to answer to eligible yourself for a full survey that they will send to you later. You will be paid for each survey completed. All members here are directly enrolled for monthly cash drawing which might earn you some extra money. Therefore, it is worth signing up here.

RateItAll

You are given a wide range of items to be rated. It is fun and simple to make money with Google Adsense Impressions here.

StoryMash

If you are creative at writing fiction stories, you may write at StoryMash. You will be rewarded for every chapter and self-published you made on this site. Here, you are also eligible to earn from $100 to over $500 in cash prizes when you are picked up for a winning in the contest.

Helium

Helium is a writing site that pays you for writing original article. To write an article, you go to its site to choose your desired topic to write. Your article will be ranked base upon the peers' vote, popularity and the overall topic of the articles. That means they will pay base upon the performance and how well your article is rated. You might be frustrated with its small pennies, but they do have several contests to get you some extra money. You may also write articles that publishers are looking for at the marketplace to determine whether you want to or not want to sell the article. Sometimes, the publishers may offer $20 to $200 for specific works. Alternatively, you may also choose for earning passive income to continue gaining you some money in a long run.

Associated Content

This writing site works well with many "content producers". To publish articles, videos, and slide-shows, you simply go to the publish button at its top. Then, you will have to fill in the blanks in a step-to-step manner. If you are publishing a general article, it will ask whether you want your content to be exclusive which is an option to pay you more money. It is also best to review for upfront payment which will earn you $3-20 or more than that for each piece of article you wrote. Besides this, every 1000 page views your article received will earn you about $1.50. You may also choose to earn for making passive income which is paid base on performance but not to earn as much with Google Adsense revenue sharing sites. If your content becomes popular on this site, you may also earn an additional monthly bonus. Sadly to say, this site is not for international writers as they only pay Americans.

Dreamstime

This is another micro-stock photography site which you will get from a 50% to 80% commission for photos you sell on this site. The more photos you sell the more commissions you will get. This site provide "Keymaster" program that will get you some money, too. The keywords you provide for each photo that will be used while customers searching for photos will get you paid for as low as $0.20 each.

Constant Content

Here, you can begin publishing your original content after signing up, and you can set the price that someone must pay before using your content. From here, 35% of the revenue will go to Constant Content. At this site, you have full control of your rights either you sell usage rights for small sum of money to be resold over and over for the future usage, or you sell full rights to earn a larger one-time revenue.

Epinions

This site pays you for writing reviews on some particular items that people are frequently searching for. One thing to get noted here is that you should write in clear, attractive and useful reviews to get paid. You will get a small penny each time people read your reviews. For 10 reviews you write, you will get paid for $10 with terms and conditions applied here.

ShareAPic

This is a site for you to share your picture. ShareAPic will share its advertising revenue with you each month. They pay you $0.22 for 1000 views. The more views your pictures get the more revenue you will make on this site. You may also place Adsense ads in your personal gallery on ShareAPic to earn some extra money.

Global Test Market

After signing up for this site, you will have to wait for certain time for them to send you an invitation mail. The mails that you receive will base upon your demographic information. The more details you fill in the more chances you will get invitations from this site. For each completed survey, you will be awarded "market points", which can later be turned into cash, with $1 equals to 20 market points. One thing for you to take note is that you should not ignore the invitations as they might think that you are not interested in filling up surveys and thus they will not send you any invitations in the future. Some invitations need to fill up immediately as it will be closed once the quota is filled up. You may also refer your friends to this site via e-mail to gain more points. Indeed, this is one of the best survey sites worth trying as they send you more invitations as compared to other paid survey sites.

MetaCafe

This is a huge video sharing network which let you to share your original video while at the same time you get paid through the "Producer Rewards" program. Before your video getting published on this site, the editor will review your video. If your video becomes popular, you can earn more money here. For the first 20,000 views, you will be paid $100 plus an additional $5 per 1,000 views thereafter.

Writing Campus

Writing Campus is a writing site that requires you to write a quality article. They call all the writings "blog entries" and the shorter article must be in a length of at least 300 words. Here, you earn 70% of the Google Adsense revenue. Your writings here also earn you money for many years. You can see your money grows if you are writing lots of good quality articles besides promoting their site.

Google Adsense

Among the text ad services, Google Adsense is the most popular and widely known text ad service. The revenue generated from this site is pay-per-click basis. The higher click you get the more revenue it will generate. Besides text ads, they also provide you affiliate banners and buttons, and Google search box as well for you to place on your blog or website. You will get paid every time someone clicks on the ads in the search results. However, you must be careful not to click on the text ads placed on your site or your account will be terminated forever. Thereafter, you are strictly not allowed to open a new account.

Final Remarks
