Twitter asks: What are you doing? You then reply in 140 letters or less.
For the longest time, I wasn't really sure what Twitter was about. I saw the Twitter button at Triond and submitted my article URLs but was still foggy as to how to use Twitter to gain readers and a following for my Triond articles.
I finally took the time to familiarize myself with the Twitter concept. Twitter asks: What are you doing? You then add brief remarks. It's a way to touch bases with others.
How to Use Twitter to Gain a Following for Your Triond Articles
When I add an article Url to Twitter, I describe what the article is about or ask a question that my article answers. This can be difficult because you have to have enough letters left over, out of the 140 letters, to include your URL--but it can be done.
I've found that since I started describing my Triond articles, I've gained far more readers and followers at Twitter.
I also follow others and make comments on material they have submitted.
Twitter is a great little tool and once you understand how it works, you can use Twitter to gain a following for your Triond articles.
