Triond Messes Up

Triond sometimes thinks what you wrote isn't yours.

Well yesterday I was making a great article on creatures that were suppose to be fake or things that looked fake but were real. It took me a good hour to do and I didn't copy anyone. I was so excited and couldn't wait to see how many views it would get.

So I go on the next day and find out it was said to be copied which is totally a lie. I go furious and freaked out. It wasn't something I would do over this little thing but for some reason it ticked me off.

I’m writing this article to everyone from Triond that has lost an article, which was perfectly fine. I'm here to say don't give up just because it didn't get published. I thought about it, and I understood that everything even computers make mistakes. Don't give up on Triond if it doesn't publish your stuff just try again. Hey, they are willing to give you money and just giving in some old homework or some articles.

So keep your head high, like I should of done instead of getting frustrated. Just get some friends, write some articles and make some money. That’s all I can think now

that's the spirit!

Triond also promises to publish in any language, but since october 5 I am waiting that they publish my German article ... I won't load up my other German stuff 'till they do

but then, patience is a virtue :)

I think one tip here would be to save your work in a word processor, especially is you are using the online editor. I have heard (but don't know for sure!) that if Triond rejects and article that was submitted using the online editor that the text does not get returned to you. So, my best advice is to save it in a WP and if Triond does reject it, you could always submit it wlesewhere.

One thing tho, Triond will reject if the subject has been "overdone" already on the internet. Are you sure it was rejected because it was copied or because it was too similar to other stuff "out there"? Just asking!

To Lucas - I was aware that Triond now publishes in Spanish too, but was not aware of the German. It is great if they have - anything that helps to break te strangle hold that the English language has on the net is a god thing in my mind! You have to remember, though, that only some of the editors will speak the language and so it might take more time to get on line as it will have to be someone specific who checks it. If they just publish it for you without checking the content (and they need a German speaker for that!) then they are taking a huge risk! So, I guess it will take more time and I am sure that patience will reward you!

I'm really glad you wrote this article - it just goes to show you that Triond really is looking out for the writing community as well because they are careful, they published this article (with a title that admits they mess up sometimes - because we are all human), etc.

I have found sometimes that when I write an article and it isn't published, if I write an email explaining to the editors why it is a perfectly good article, they will then publish my work. I can imagine they have so many article coming in at once that even the best editors will make mistakes.

Blessings for this important article!

Sincerely,

-Liane Schmidt.

Remember the editors are human too, and can make mistakes. However the other side of the coin is that they wil respond in a very helpful manner if you query them.In my case I had an item refused on the "offensve etc" standard reply. when I queried, the reason they gave was not as the initial response but that they simply wanted that item to be loaded in"submit file" as opposed to the normal "online editor".
The best tip is :if in doubt give 'em a shout!
