It's your opportunity to put your best cyber-foot forward and show potential clients what you're all about. This is a chance for you to show samples of your work, your resume and past experience as well as a little of your personal side (if you choose to do so).

Ms. Bacchetta has found her place on the Internet. She has great SEO as her site comes up in the first page when you Google “freelance writer”. The website is crisp and clean and easy on the eyes. Everything is simple to find and easy to read and contains all the information you need to determine if Sally is the right writer for your needs.
If you're a copywriter and you haven't heard of Bob Bly, then you must be living on the moon. However, just because you've heard of him, or even read his books, doesn't necessarily mean you've met him on the web. His website is fabulous. It has information about the services he provides, past work he has done, how to contact him for a quote and even hints, tips and other information for writers coming up in the business who can learn from his many years of experience.
Last but not least, it's time for a little self-promotion. My own site contains samples, resume, links to my published books, my blog and much more. It's the best way to learn about me, to contact me for projects or even to learn more about writing. In addition to the basics, I have a Buy Now feature for web content, links to my Elance profile for invitations and more. The goal is to make it easy and inviting for clients to contact you.
