The "Triondy Awards" Week Ending June 15, 2008

Best Triond articles of the week. With the exception of one writer, preference was given to "unknown writers". Thank you for great reads! If you want to send me a link to your article for next week's awards please do. I am afraid that even though I try to find most of the articles published in a week, I miss some great ones. I will read any links you send and judge them against the other great articles I find.

“Triondy Awards” W/E June 14, 2008

Congratulations to this week's “Triondy” recipients. Thank you to all of these great writers for fabulous reading. Tuesday proved to be a great writing day for everyone! I hope you enjoy these articles as much as I did. There is a special Father's Day article here that is so touching. Have some Kleenex handy. Have a great week!

Included: Links to Author's profiles: Check out their other great articles!

Motivational piece about living every day the way you want to and not the way you “should“.

“A Parent's Predicament: Taking Away the Bottle or Pacifier”

“Top Ten Amazing Tips for Effective Networking”

The perfect “Why didn't I think of that” article. As freelance writers looking for more traffic, this advice applies to us in some areas but is focused on sales calls and business meeting venues.

“Questions Asked Before Marriage”

loveureyes

I was sure to ask my husband these questions on by the end of our fourth date…I am afraid the altar would be too late if I did not have these answers. I was misinformed by the title, therefore disappointed as a result. After reviewing many articles this writer has written, it seems that the information included is general knowledge churned out for sake of publishing as many articles as possible per day. I hope to see this freelancer delve into researching her pinpoint topics. Topics are great, information needs further research and fine tuning.

Best Title

“Blagoreous”

Shaquanna Morgan

Self explanatory. You will see what "blogoreous"' means by the end of the poem. It is a shame that I would not be able to get away with using this cool term =(

Most Thoughtful

“Remembering Daddy”

Loreta Dorington

A tear-jerker for Father's Day. For those who are celebrating although Dad is no longer with you. A beautiful remembrance and touching letter to the author's mother.

Thank you for commenting on my article, otherwise I would have not known there is this \"Triondy Awards\". I am really flattered and elated that you have included me here. Thank you for going out of your way to read and review articles of new and unknown writers like me. It really feels good to be appreciated even just once in a while.
