The Quiet Writers at Triond

This is a tribute to many writers at Triond that have opened their arms, and welcome others into this community.

If you are a Triond user, you will quickly learn who the big names are, and who are popular.

However, in this article, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the beautiful, quiet writers at Triond. They are the ones that should receive appreciation, since they work behind the scene in supporting a wide range of other writers: old and new, friends and fans.

Lucy Lockett

She has to be on my top list! Yes, she is the greatest supporter not only to me, but to pretty much the whole gang at Triond. She makes time to leave comments, says it like it is, and is always encouraging.

In Lucy's profile, you can find many beautiful photos, an interesting collection of articles, and wonderful poems.

Sandra L. Petersen

Before Triond offered the Community button, I used to search for her high and low all over the internet. She is a generous soul to many writers at Triond. She often leaves supportive comments whether you are new or old to Triond.

A group of us was franticly search for her work to just show our appreciation, but failed because she signed her name without the "L." We were happy to find her after Triond gave us the Community gadget.

In Sandra's profile, you will find pages of wonderful photos, and creative poems.

Francie

Francie is another quiet writer at Triond. You can feel her energy through her comments, and in her work. She gives without expecting a return. If a title grabs her, she will read, and leave comments of encouragement. She has been a great supporter for many of us.

In Francie's profile, you can find many wonderful articles, and beautiful photos.

Nick Kenny

What can I say about Nick? He has a warm, caring, and genuine heart. After getting to know Nick, you will have a feeling as though he is always on the lookout for you. He will take you under his wings and give you his full support.

In Nick's profile, you will find his short stories and beautiful poems. Beware! Some of his stories will make the hair on your back stand up!

R. B. Parsley

Randy is another big brother figure at Triond. He is very supportive, generous with his feelings, and a caring soul. Get to know him, and you will be glad you did.

In R. B. Parsley's profile, you will find many wonderful poems. He is truly a writer who wears his heart on his sleeves, at least to me when I read his poetry.

If you think I am bias toward these writers, then you are right! They have supported me since the beginning. They are also the quiet force behind many other writers here on Triond. To Lucy, Sandra, Francie, Nick, and Randy, I am honored to be in the same community with you, and send my deepest gratitude to you all. You guys have made a home at Triond for many of us.

I agree with you, Icy, I have always found the above readers very supportive, but that should also include you. As busy as you are, you leave glowing comments on many articles, and lend an ear or hand often.

This is a wonderful gesture and a great article. Yes, everyone is equally important as we all have roles to tackle. Important work be left undone if not undertaken by the people who are most talented and willing to do them.

You are not biased, Icy. I think you found each writer's soul. They are indeed wonderful people who take you in and make you feel a part of the family. They give us support, encouragement, and friendship.

A wonderful tribute to well deserving friends.

I pay high respect to all writers, new or old at Triond. Indeed, without your quiet supports, comments, and encouragements, I won't be grown up at Triond. Once again, I record my highest gratitute and blessings to all writers, fans, friends, relatives, supporters and all staffs at Triond. Thank you very much and best wishes from me.

Thank you for your generous words Icy. All the comments up to this point have been from some of MY favourite writers, some of them not all of them. There is a wealth of talented writers here and I think it is important to leave a comment when you can.

Icy,
Thank you for the honor. It brought tears of happiness to my eyes and as my wife said, The biggest smile she has ever seen on my face. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You did an excellent job Icy.

Well Icy!! You are so kind and generous, I always knew that:), such a thoughtful article! You have a most generous heart. I am for once at a loss for words, lol

I have not put up content as I am busy with a start up business. That along with my kids seems to take up all of my time, and energy.

However when needing to relax, I check up and see what my friends here are up to. I try to leave word on articles especially my FROM THE BEGINNING FRIENDS, and new ones that have left comments for me. It seems tricky at times, hopefully it evens itself out. Yes, there is a host of talent here at Triond, everything from exquisite floral photos to important, informative articles. I have learned much and hope to keep on learning. I consider myself one of the lucky ones to have met My favorites here!!

What a super nice way to acknowledge writers of all kinds. It's hard enough to just be noticed in a publishing world and for some far to expensive. My hat goes off to you and your kind heart.

All the best to you. Bertie

What a great article! I'm new here and wondered why this site is so incredibly quiet, where are all the people? I was beginning to scratch my head and wonder if this site was just all about competition and not camaraderie. What a delight to find your article!

Wrote a similar thank you to the friends over at Classmates in their writing group. Had a car accident a couple of years ago and it took my brain quite a while to wake up fully. Seemed drawn to the Classmates site, joined the writing group only to find out they were doing poetry, something I've never had the bent, and, lo and behold! they got me writing poetry, slowly, at first, as I hadn't written anything in over 2 years at all. They helped wake me up to write better and better! The works went from simple to more complex. Fabulous group over there too!

Does Triond have a community place to visit to interact beyond this comment box? Thanks! ~ d
