Why not add gumption to the Triond experience with printing?
Copy and Paste Me
Windows Vista and Microsoft Explorer way…
- Create a new Word Document,
- Open the writer's Triond Web page, of your choice,
- Select the words of the writer,
- Copy the words,
- Paste them into the Word Document,
- Format the words - never forget the author!
- Print
Darn Tables!
Windows Vista method…
When you paste the author's words, sometimes weird lines appear in the Word Document. These are all the tables and ads, imported with your prose, from the design to the copied Web site.
To fix this…
- Select all that you have pasted into the fresh Word Document. Sometimes the borders of the imported tables appear - sometimes they do not,
- The highlight should automatically invoke the Table tools tab,
- Choose the Layout tab,
- Choose,” convert table to text,” mode in the Data tab - to the right,
- Choose a separator - I choose a, “paragraph,” separator,
- Press Convert the table to text,
- Edit away ad words ( unnecessary words that have accidently been copied into the fresh document )
- Retain the words of the poet,
- Edit and style the poet's words your way e.g as a gift card ( A5 ) or for your office wall ( A4) as a fresh document styled your way, with the author's name.
Mad but practical ideas
The reason I wrote this was to recommend some uses for your Triond print-out.
- Glue the words of the poet into a Christmas or Birthday card,
- Print the funny stuff for Thanksgiving table mats making your guess cry with laughter,
- Find a difficult love poem and give it to a flame as a cherished gift,
- Hang an affirmation or some advice onto your fridge or in your workspace,
- Create gift wrap with the words of a writer or an image from Picable
Why print at all?
Printing adds something physical to the experience. It also means that the longer articles can be read in your time. Pictures can also be printed but I prefer the text, because of laser ink concerns. Printing is choice for reciepes.
