Need Help with Triond: The Reference Guide for New Users

Many people new to the site don't know how to use it and need more information. I have composed some things together that I hope will help with Triond.

The Definition of Triond

Triond is a website for writers, artists, and musicians to get their work out there. If you’re expecting quick cash, this isn’t the site for you. You have to have a passion for writing, drawing, or music. You also have to have patience; it takes awhile for people to notice your work, but if you love doing what you do, other people will too. Otherwise, you’re just wasting your time.

How the Triond Works: A step by step breakdown of the website

Dashboard:

This is the first page to come up. Dashboard, is basically an overview of everything that is going on. In the upper left hand corner, you will find your content overview. This is any literature, art, pictures, or music you have created and submitted to the website. Next to the content are your content views for that day, your earnings for that day, your comments for that day, and how many people clicked the I Like It! button for that day. In the upper right hand corner, there is your earnings overview. This will tell you what you have earned for this month so far, how much your next payment will be, and when the next payment is coming out. Just below that is Triond’s News. These are your newsletters from Triond. Also on the page, you have friend’s news (your Triond friends’ latest publications), latest messages (messages from people on Triond), hot content (the top few articles people are viewing all over the Triond website and internet), hot tags (popular tags that people use to describe their work), and hot users (popular people on the Triond website.

Submit:

For submit, you have two tabs, online editor and submit. Online Editor is a place to work on and store your work until you decide to submit it. If your work is already finished and saved onto your computer hard drive, you can upload it and submit it for publication.

Content:

Content lets you view all of your content. In Publishing Content, you can see how many times your work has been viewed on that day, how much money your work has earned, the total views of your work, the total earnings of your work, and comments and likes from people. You can also share, fix, and delete any of your content. In Pending Content, you can view your content that you hve submitted but not published yet. This tab also tells you when you submitted the content. If you have an error on your work, you can fix or delete it with the fix and delete icons. Drafts shows you all of your unpublished content that you have saved. You can work on it or delete it while you're there. The Declined Content Tab shows you your declined content, the day the content was submitted on, the day the content was declined on, and the reason your content was declined. The Comments tab shows you all of the comments people have posted about your content. You can view the day the person commented, the name of the commenter, and the person's comment. While you're there you can delete any unwanted comments.

Earnings:

Shows you your payment history and your payment overview.

Community:

Community is basically about your friends on Triond. You can view their latest articles in News Feed, see what they've sent you in Inbox, see what you've sent them in Outbox, view how many friends you have in Friends, and view how many fans you have in Fans.

Explore:

You can explore the world of Triond in Explore. You can view hot, new content, recently published content, hot users, and hot content under hot tags. Also, you can look up other users and content that may not be so hot.

Account:

Account is just the information you submitted when you were making the account, optional information, and your public profile details. You can edit any of your account details on this page.
